About Leonard Martell

I am retired and have a property in the Alpine Village RV Park that I stay in during the summer. I also have this 34' RV that I am currently listing as a rental property in the same park. I enjoy the high country of Alpine and all the wild live and fishing that is available in the area.

Leonard Martell purchased this recreational vehicle in 2004

Why Leonard Martell chose Capital Territory & High Country

Alpine is a quite mountain village with great access to hiking, fishing and hunting and provide a great location for a weekend getaway for people who live in the heat of the Southwestern United States deserts like Phoenix, Tucson, Az El Paso, TX, and Southern New Mexico, and California.

What makes this recreational vehicle unique

This is a bargan, for staying in the Alpine, AZ area, over a Motel or Rental Cabin, fees are much less and you still have all the comforts of home.

Just minutes from great Elk and Deer hunting areas. If fishing is your thing we are 5 minutes away from Luna Lake and great fishing, also close to some of the best fishing on the near Indian reservation in the White mountains of AZ.

Use this rental as a base camp for your hunting in the Alpine , Springerville or Luna & Reserve NM areas.

Alpine is 265 miles from either Tucson, Phoenix, or Albuquerque. About 4 and 1/2 hours driving time. The town of Alpine sits at the headwaters of the San Francisco river, at an elevation of 8,100 ft and is situated in the eastern end of Arizona's popular White Mountains. It is surrounded by the beauty of the Sitgreaves National Forest. The four distinct seasons offer something for everyone in this outdoor paradise from quiet relaxation to a myriad of outdoor recreational activities.

Very affordable,

  • 5 of 5

Most people come to Alpine and the White Mountains to escape the stress of their everyday lives. My wife and I do to, thanks to Len we could do it for a very affordable cost. This RV has everything you need to have a great time, good selection of dvds, Direct TV, pots, pans and utensils just to name a few. The RV is pet friendly, which is a plus for us. It's also in a great RV park. This is the first trip my wife and I didn't eat out, we cooked all our meals in the RV. Len explained in detail everything we needed to know about the RV. We will rent Len's RV every time we stay in Alpine. Thank you so much Len.

Great Value in Alpine

  • 5 of 5

We were very comfortable staying in this motorhome, which was clean and well-furnished. The owner allowed us to come up a day early for a nominal charge, as we were trying to avoid the Cedar Fire near Show Low. He explained the features of the motorhome in detail, and the fact that the park has restrooms and showers. Having DirecTV in the coach gave us access to news and movies in the evening.

Alpine is a great destination for those wanting to escape the heat of Tucson or Phoenix. We especially enjoyed the country blues festival during our stay, and hiked Escudilla Mt. nearby. We didn't eat out much while in Alpine, but highly recommend Foxfire for dinner.

Thank you Leonard, for all your help and a very enjoyable weekend.

Elk Hunt

  • 5 of 5

We had a great stay. We especially enjoyed the variety of CD Movies when we couldn't get out in the field because of the heavy rains. Alpine is one of our favorite places to stay during hunting season. Our fav eating spot is the Bear Wallow. The mister really likes the homemade pies topped with ice cream. And you can't bear the French fries and hamburgers topped with green chilies.

Labor Day Weekend!

  • 5 of 5

Our stay was wonderful as always! Thank you so much Len. It's actually my favorite place to stay in Alpine because the RV has everything you need: TV, Microwave, Stove, Oven, Fridge, Shower. I have booked Len's place twice and it's always clean, comfy and just perfect! I love it. And it is so close to everything that we just park the vehicle and walk. We will back!
