A Couple of Tweaks Needed; But Do Recommend

  • 4 of 5

This apartment was in a great location and very clean, comfortable and quiet. I absolutely loved the décor and made me feel quite special staying on Jones Street. My husband and I, both in our mid-50s, were able to walk as far as the River with no problems whatsoever. We never got our car out except to drive to Tybee Island and take a quick trip up to Beaufort, South Carolina. The reserved off-street parking in the back of the house was a definite plus. The only improvements I think could be made is that the outdoor furniture in the courtyard was minimal and was very dirty. We did not spend any time out there due to that. Also, this apartment has cable, but it has only the very BASIC cable. Pretty much only the local channels. While this may not matter to some, if you are the type to come home early in the evening or get rained out and want to stay in a bit, as what happened to us, it would have been nice to have at least a few other channels to choose from. There is no DVD player or DVDs either. So if you plan to spend any time at all in the apartment, be aware there is basically no television; be sure to bring board games and books! The Wi-Fi worked perfectly however.

Could not have been happier

We were very impressed with our accomodations at 208 East Jones Street. After a quick walk to the Kroger's we realized what a convenient and centrally located address this is. The spires and bells of the nearby Cathedral of St. John the Baptist added to the ambiance and historic vibe of the condo. Bed was comfortable, kitchen well stocked for cooking a dinner and living room chic and relaxing. Clary's Diner is right around the corner nad has the biggest and best chocolate eclair I have ever had! Look no further- stay here.
