This family friendly home on over 2 acres is only three minutes to I-35W which provides fast access to local attractions. The home is 20 minutes to downtown Fort Worth, TCU, Will Rogers Equestrian Center and the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo; 25 minutes to the Historic Stockyards; and 35 minutes to AT&T (Dallas Cowboys) Stadium, Texas Ranger Ballpark, Six Flags, Hurricane Harbor, Lone Star Park, The Wax Museum, and Texas Motor Speedway. Only 25 minutes to Beautiful Benbrook Lake where you can enjoy Boating, Skiing, Swimming, Sailing, Fishing, and 20 Miles of Scenic Horse Trails.
The home is 2500 square feet with 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms to comfortably accommodate a large group. This family friendly home has a large backyard patio, basketball goal, horseshoes, and other outdoor games. It is equipped with ATT U-verse expanded channels, wifi internet and 3 TVs. The kitchen is stocked with all the essential cooking appliances and utensils. A new double oven was installed Nov 2015. The breakfast table seats 6, the kitchen counter seats 2, and the adjacent formal dining room seats 8. The large downstairs Master suite has a garden tub and a shower, a second downstairs bedroom and full bathroom, and 2 upstairs bedrooms sharing a Jack and Jill bath. Also upstairs is a loft/den with a TV, sofa and loveseat, and a day bed with a trundle bed. A Queen air mattress is available upon request when paying the additional fee for more than 8 guests. There are three additional twin mattresses that can be placed in any room.
The 200 foot concrete driveway can accommodate large vehicles and trailers. ¾ acre is landscaped and the backyard is enclosed in chain link fence. The remaining 1 ½ acre is fenced for horses with 2 pastures. A 2 stall barn is available for use for an additional fee.

I am from Alabama and my husband is from Iowa. We moved to Texas in 1990. We raised our two children in this home while commuting to Fort Worth for our places of business. We are in the process of moving south of Benbrook, TX. We love the mild winters, and all the events and places of interest that Fort Worth, Arlington, and Dallas has to offer.

We purchased this home in 1997 in order to live “away from it all” while only being a short drive from it all. This home is 3 minutes and 2 stop signs to I-35W for fast access to Burleson, Fort Worth and Arlington. This home is 10 minutes to highway 67 for easy access to Dallas.
This home is on a quiet road in a community of homes that are all on 2 acres or more, giving guests a great deal of privacy. The open but private backyard comfortably accommodates large groups for outdoor entertainment. The home has a basketball goal, swing, and horseshoe pit to entertain the entire family. The property has horse fencing for 2 pastures and a 2-stall barn. The property has many trees, with a lot of backyard shade. A family of roadrunners lives in the back pasture. Rabbits, squirrels, birds, and hummingbirds are frequent visitors.
Nice property. Pam was every easy to work with in planning our stay and was extremely accommodating . It was the perfect property with lots of room and nicely stocked with everything we needed! Very quiet neighborhood. Wishing them the best of luck in the future!
This home turned out to be absolutely perfect for the seven in our family. It was very clean and spacious with all the amenities we needed. The owners were very diligent and helpful. Pam provided us with valuable driving directions and wonderful places to eat. We received our deposit refund immediately. When we return to Fort Worth we will definitely rent from them again!!
My family (my husband and 3 kids, my parents, 2 older sisters, and my younger sister her husband and 3 kids) and I stayed at this house for my younger brother's wedding. All 8 adults had a bed to sleep in and there were plenty of spots to put the kids to bed. Having 3.5 bathrooms was great for getting everybody ready and the house is large enough that we never felt too crowded with all of those people. The yard was definitely nice for the kids, although we learned quickly that shoes are an absolute requirement. There were some thistle-type prickly plants growing in the lawn, that hurt barefeet, but the kids really loved the treehouse and swings to play on.
This house provided some "extras" that I haven't found in other houses we've rented such as, shampoo and soap in the bathrooms, 2 portable cribs, an air mattress, cleaning supplies (for spills, etc), laundry and dish soap, and a well-stocked kitchen with a variety of spices and oils available to use. The kitchen had a large variety of pots and pans, including baking dishes and crockpots. The stove top and oven were a bit outdated, and the oven temperature is difficult to work with, but the owner mentioned this would be replaced shortly. Overall, the house was very clean and tidy with plenty of seating and beds for everyone.
The house is a short drive to Fort Worth (we checked out the Stockyards), and very close to the highway, making it less painful to get places. We were a bit farther away from my brother and the wedding location, but there really wasn't much in the way of affordable, large, inventory for rental houses closer to Dallas. The comfort of this house made the longer drive more worth it.
The owner was very responsive before, during, and after our stay, which can really make a huge difference. At one point, one of the kids had somehow locked the powder room door and closed it behind them and Pam responded very quickly to my text to help us get it unlocked again. We were very comfortable during our stay. She also responded to the constructive feedback we had listed on the survey we left behind, which was a surprise. It's nice to know that someone is willing to take suggestions for improvement. We would definitely stay in this house again.
We rented the house to provide for family and friends who were coming for my daughter's wedding. The house is perfect for a large group of people. We only had 7 people who stayed there (but there was room for more to sleep, if needed), but we hosted a dinner for 30 people on Thursday night. We had more than enough room and even swings and a tree house in the backyard for the few children that were there. Even with that many people there for dinner, parking was not a problem. The house was close to the wedding venue, which is why we chose it, but it was also close to the things we did in Ft. Worth. Everything we needed (sheets, towels, shampoo, soap, fully equipped kitchen, etc.) was provided. I was able to do laundry and wash dishes in a dishwasher. My daughter was able to relax in a way she could not have done in a hotel room. I had to contact the owner once and got an immediate response. Having this house made getting ready for our daughter's "big day" a part of the greatest week of all of our lives. If I ever have another occasion to rent a home in the Ft. Worth area, I will return to this house.
Everyone was commenting about how perfect this place was for our group! We had 4 families with several kids, so we put the kids in the area upstairs next to the 2 bedrooms, so all the adults had a room to themselves and the kids got to sleep close by to each other. The outdoor playset was fun for them, and they had a large yard big enough for several soccer matches It was great that the house is close to the highway, and it didn't take too long to get to the Perot Museum, Fort Worth Zoo, and Burleson Recreation Center (they have a sweet indoor natatorium). I had some questions while there and the owner replied quickly. I'd highly recommend for a large group.
We had family in town and it was a perfect gathering house. We bbq'ed and joined the neighborhood in shooting off fireworks for the 4th of July celebration. The hosts are kind, considerate and generous. Ample space for outdoor activities, sleeping arrangements & parking.
