You can access the water right from the property. A small lagoon offers a place to swim or launch a kayak. Although we are looking over the yacht club, no use of the club is permitted. It is for the members only.

a wonderful place to enjoy coastal Maine

  • 5 of 5

This is a great property and is exactly as described and shown in the photographs although they don't really show how magnificent a view there is of the coast.

The house is well equipped and everything is in great condition......we didn't lack for anything during our visit.

The owners were so gracious and were attentive to any of our requests and were easy to contact if we needed anything at all.

For anyone looking to be in the Brunswick/Freeport or surrounding areas, I doubt you will find a better place to spend your time.....

Beyond our expectations

  • 5 of 5

From the first message exchange with Tony, I could tell this was going to be a great experience.

We walked into the house and immediately felt at home. The pictures didn't fully do it justice. Beautiful, peaceful and perfect.

I hope to visit again next year!

Georgeous retreat

  • 5 of 5

We were in town visiting our kids at bowdoin college and this home was a mere 15 minutes away. The home itself is fantastically appointed with everything needed. The common areas are tremendous and the bedrooms extremely comfortable. The views are stunning with great natural light. The host is clear and concise with communication and helpful.

Million Dollar Views of the Maine Coast

  • 5 of 5

I began to research VRBO in December 2014 for a 6 month sabbatical to finish a book I am writing .i wanted to combine the trip with places I most wanted to visit from Alaska to Maine with Canada in between .i flew from Homer Alaska to Portland Me and drove directly to the home in Harpswell ,8 miles from Brunswick Me .we opened the door walked into the open plan living dining and kitchen areas: the Million Dollar water and landscape views from the two story windows made the 5000 mile trip more than worth it .The 2500 sq ft home has everything needed to facilitate Is class dining and entertaining and just relaxing .the Deck is expansive and equipped for outdoor dining as well as lounging in the sun and enjoying the evening breezes .There are always beautiful views of the pleasure and lobster boats traveling past the windows and deck:its an easy walk down to the lawn and waterside .All this in heavily wooded areas that have been carefully cleared where essential to maximize the views : the property is secluded but easily accessible to local Harpswell Rds .For those who love the kitchen ,everything is there to cook the best of meals .As for dining out there are numerous lobster shacks ,several more than acceptable restaurants especially The Old Schoolhouse for breakfast and lunch .i use Trip Advisor and the locals for best selections as opposed to Yelp . It's a 12-15 minute drive for major groceries and a CVC .if you have time explore all the Harpswells with your camera. Further afield take the drive into Portland for a day and pick out a great seafood restaurant and enjoy shopping without chain stores.Or go north to Camden and Rockport for lunch and sailboat tour out of Rockport .On the way back stop at Red s Lobster Shack in Wiscassett .Harpswell is the Hidden Gem of the Maine Mid Coast:it is not touristy .The lobster industry flourishes with families going back to the 1850 s ,Victorian houses and churches ,many first and second homes and a sprinkling of individual rentals .The people are friendly and helpful in making recommendations .Toni C has a flair for design and restoration . His attention to detail and what do my tenants want and need philosophy shows everywhere on the property . I have a lot of choices for the remainder of my trip .It was an easy decision to book this property for the last month of my sabbatical

Over the past 3 years my son and myself have booked 19 properties . This property with its its Million Dollar Views is my number I

The pictures don't do this home or the grounds justice. The property is beautiful and the home is incredibly clean and comfortable. There's a large deck for sunbathing and grilling, an expansive lawn down to the water, a rocky waterfront beach good for a dip, and even a fireplace for chilly nights. We had such a fun and relaxing time at this house and can't wait to come back next year!
