About the owner: Originally from the South Shore of Nova Scotia, I moved to the Toronto area to pursue a new career. My interests soon shifted to real estate and for many years now, I have been an active real estate sales person in the Riverdale area of Toronto where I enjoy helping clients realize their dreams. I own several properties in Toronto that are also listed with VRBO and take pleasure in hosting guests from all over the world.
Why the Owner Chose Cobourg, ON, Canada:
I purchased the lakehouse 4 years ago because it reminded me of being back on the shores of beautiful Nova Scotia. The close proximity to Toronto, (approx. 1 hour drive east of Toronto) allows for an easy escape from the City.
The Unique Benefits at this Estate:
AN INTIMATE CONNECTION TO NATURE Having been built so close to the waters edge, the retreat offers a special intimate connection with nature in all seasons. Open the windows and you are completely surrounded with the sights and sounds of nature: lapping waves, crying sea gulls, chickadees, morning doves, caawing crows and chirping crickets................................................ A RELAXING REJUVINATING EXPERIENCE Here, is a relaxing, rejuvinating tranquil place with lilacs in the spring, beautiful wild flowers in summer, red and gold leaves in the fall and sparkling diamonds on mountains of lake ice in winter.......................................................................................................NATURAL SETTING & ALL THE CONVENIENCES The location offers a beautiful natural setting but with all the convenience of nearby downtown shopping, food shopping, farmers markets, box stores, restaurants, golfing, local theatre, healthcare and more. SHORT COMMUTE TIME FROM THE BIG CITY With only a short 1 hour drive from Toronto, (approx.) the Lakehouse offers a quick escape from the noise and congestion of the big city. Alternately, you can take one of several Via trains leaving daily from Union Station to Cobourg station, then take a 20 minute walk or taxi to the retreat.
