Welcome to Boardwalk, a Gulf Shores timeless tradition. This 70 unit complex is in the heart of shopping, attractions, entertainment and dining, including the famous Sea-n-Suds restaurant on-site which my Dad and his partners/ lifelong friends have owned going on 40 years now, so be sure to check it out and grab a bite. Delicious! While outdoors, enjoy the gulf side pool, huge sundeck and BBQ area. Indoors you will appreciate magnificent, unobstructed views of the Gulf of Mexico from your private balcony of unit that can be accessed from the living room and master bedroom. Our 10th floor 960 sq ft privately-owned condo #1082 features an updated kitchen, updated bathrooms, modern furnishings, full size washer/dryer, tile floors throughout except in the bedrooms which are carpeted, Flat Screens TVs with Blu-ray/ DVD in the living room and guest room. We offer free WIFI. Monthly stays Nov-mid March. FREE parking. 2 car MAXIMUM. (Overflow parking across the street) Enjoy our non-smoking unit. We’ll see you here soon.

About Jordan Bodenhamer Barnard

I am a 3rd generation local. Native to Gulf Shores and I have been blessed to call this great Island my home since birth... (31 years now).

If you are ever considering renting a beach house and not a condo, then check out our Gulf Front 3 bedroom house down west beach, called the OK Corral. It is lovely, sleeps 10 and can be found on VRBO as well.

Well, there is no better complex than The Boardwalk, Great Location, Solid building with a fantastic reputation. My Father and his partner built the Boardwalk and opened it in 1985. He along with the other Owning partners of Sea-n-Suds have owned this unit from the beginning!! Also, I worked at the front desk at Boardwalk for years and know the building inside and out. In addition, I have come to know many of the return guests and built lifelong relationships with several of our friendly long-term unit owners. I love Gulf Shores and I love the Boardwalk.... and believe anyone who stays with us will fall in love with it, too! Don't forget we have the whitest beaches in the country!!

What makes this condo unique

The Boardwalk is a very unique property, as it is the only place in our area where a restaurant is directly on site! Plus there is a gift shop on the Ground Floor of the building that sells items such as Beer, Ice and Sunscreen, etc. You may never need to leave the property once you arrive!

UNIT IS REALLY NICE....

We enjoyed our stay and the unit is really nice. Views are great. We had a really good time. Only two issues with this property. One is the parking. Stressful to say the least. The other had to do with the key code upon leaving. I went to take the garbage out around 9:30 am and my key code would no longer work. I was locked out without a phone. There was no one in the office. Tried calling Young's but got the answering machine. My friend finally found someone who gave us a temp. code to get in so we could leave. Was not ready to be back in stress mode at the beach!

Fabulous Unit

This unit was absolutely stunning! Everything just as described; couldn't have asked for anything better. The condo facility was awesome - loved the pool & deck area, fast elevators, & loved being close to Sea N Suds restaurant. However, parking is a nightmare. During the day Sea N Suds customers & Young's Suncoast employees (in a company vehicle) take up parking places instead of parking across the street. (Doesn't sit well with Boardwalk patrons who have paid $1,500-$1,800 a week only to be told they will have to park across the street. - only to get over there & the overflow lot be full.) At night Sea N Suds offers valet parking, but stops cars before seeing if customer is staying at the Boardwalk which causes a major traffic jam. Unfortunately, someone is going to get hurt. Other than parking, everything was fabulous!!!
