Beautiful and peaceful

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay. This is home so beautiful and eloquently designed. It had a cozy feel, with amazing views and sounds of the river. The hot tub was so nice it was hard to get out of. Wonderful kitchen, comfortable beds and couch. Can't wait to go back.

Fantastic Property

  • 5 of 5

I was excited to stay at Keri's property from the description and pictures, but when we arrived it exceeded expectations. Everything was as advertised, but was just extremely nice. The layout of the house was really fun, and the location was perfect. Hot tub right next to the river, exactly where it should be. Easy to communicate with Keri, and will definitely be back!

One of the best in Rhodedendron

  • 5 of 5

We've stayed at a good dozen or so cabins over the years and the Eagle's Nest was hands down one of the best. Extremely well appointed, private, and just felt really special. Both bedrooms we're great and the upstairs loft could easily be considered a third bedroom with the futon. Hot Tub on the river was incredible and the fact there was a working espresso machine was icing on the cake. Would definitely recommend and stay again when vacationing with a small group.

Beautiful property - just needs a little TLC

  • 4 of 5

My wife and I visited this amazing property in late October and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The property itself is awesome and very clean and neat. It is basically a 3 story cottage with the top floor set up as a small tv room (no cable - just movies) with a futon. The second floor is a bedroom (with an awesome balcony) and a bathroom. The bottom floor has another bathroom, bedroom, living and dining area and kitchen. The bedrooms are pretty small so there isn't a lot of room for suitcases, but that was fine for us since we used the bottom bedroom for our suitcases and slept on the second floor. The dining and living areas were decently sized with plenty of room for us. The kitchen was great and was pretty well stocked with the normal staples you don't want to buy during a short stay. The backyard is beautiful and leads to a gorgeous river that was flowing pretty hard during our stay. We slept with the door open just to hear it flow (way better than white noise from the iPad:-). The cottage next door is pretty close (nothing on the other side), but it still felt relatively private. There was also a small, but well maintained hot tub right down by the water which was a great place to relax and take in the sights and sounds of nature. The Wi-Fi was very good - especially for being "in the country." My only complaint is that the property seemed to be needing a little maintenance. I counted at least 4 burned out light bulbs (one of them was over the stove so made seeing in the kitchen a difficult). Both tubs (especially the one downstairs) did not drain well and the upstairs sink also wasn't draining very well. Also, the lighting throughout most of the cabin was a bit low - I had a very difficult time seeing in the mirror of the upstairs bath and the kitchen was not very well lit (I know some of this was due to the gloomy weather since the cottage does have skylights). I'm sure these items are just oversights and I bet the owners will tend to them as soon as they read this. All-in-all we were super pleased with the property and would love to make a return visit. The location is great (TONS of activities nearby and less than an hour to Portland) and not too hard to find and was soooo beautiful. Definitely recommend this place if you're going to be in the area!
