Most relaxing place to unplug
Our trip was nothing short of magnificent! Owners are AMAZING! Very speedy to respond to any and all questions and super helpful. The house was perfect. Fantastic views and peaceful. I loved that the cabin was stocked with miscellaneous items vacationers tend to forget, like a toothbrush and lotion. Beds were comfortable. Water temperature was very hot (something I loved having during our winter stay!) Hot tub was a relaxing plus! Clean and tidy. The recliner there is a must buy. Don’t look over the side of the mountain on the drive up, if you’re afraid of heights. We will be back!
we had an awesome stay.very nice and sweet landlord, very easy to communicate and helpful, beautiful view on top of the mountain. good hiking. for sure you need a four wheel drive. the house needs some update and cleanup. overall good trip.
A gem on top of the world. Great owners great cabin!
Don’t hesitate to reserve this wonderful cabin!! Yes you definitely need a four wheel drive vehicle to make it to the top of the ridge line and yes the effort is definitely worth the reward. The views are fantastic, the house is immaculate and the seclusion perfect. Working with the owners couldn’t have been easier. I honestly can’t wait to get back.
The views were gorgeous. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub after a long day hiking to different waterfalls, horseback riding, and white water rafting, Definitely need a 4WD to navigate the road into the cabin. Saw many different birds, a few small bats, and even a bear one night after a short rain shower. Definitely recommend this to anyone looking to stay in the area.

The location and views were stunning. The amenities in the cabin, such as the pool table and foosball table were definite plusses. The cabin was more than the photos did it justice. The cabin was a lot bigger and more spacious than what we thought. The interior of the cabin was very comfortable and cozy. It was in great condition. The exterior was well maintained and gave a genuine log cabin experience. It was everything we had hopef for and more! The only regret we had was that we should have stayed longer!!!
Thank you for taking the time to share such positive comments! We strive to provide every guest with an excellent experience in every way. We are grateful and happy to hear that your stay with us exceeded your expectations. We were honored to have you as our guests and hope you will come back and have more fun! :-)
We loved our stay in this mountain cabin. The kids loved chasing the lizards that were outside every morning. There is so much wild life to see at this mountain cabin, we got to see lizards, snakes, opossum, turkey, birds (many different kinds), a coyote and above all we seen a BLACK BEAR. It was so exciting to see a bear in the wild, he (and the coyote on a different day) ran across the road when we were coming up the mountain. The house is very comfortable and well stocked, plenty of extra sheets and towels. The kids had plenty of things to keep them occupied while the adults aw'd over the view. Sunny days you can see the beautiful mountains for miles on cloudy days we sat in the living the room or on the deck and watched the clouds wash over the cabin. It made it look like you were floating in the clouds. We explored Lake Lure, Chimney Rock, Grandfather mountain (our favorite), Mount Mitchell and numerous waterfalls. Joli and Michael are so nice and respond to any questions right away. We will definitely be back!!!
Thank you so much for your kind words! We are thrilled that you got to see a bear! It makes us so happy knowing that you enjoyed all the wildlife and the magnificent beauty of the area, and had many adventures. We work hard to create a comfy and cozy environment where cherished memories are made. Thank you for being our guests. You are definitely welcome back any time! :-)
