About Amy Ng

I am a business real property owner and I also work for federal government as an accountant (CPA & MBA). I have been enjoying this condo and will retire here. Currently, I would like to share this space with others to appreciate the proximity of all attractions in downtown Victoria.

Amy Ng purchased this condo in 2013

Why Amy Ng chose Victoria

I am a city person but I enjoy the tranquility of island living.

What makes this condo unique

Again, I have to emphasize the importance of city living. We do provide indoor parking, but you will enjoy walking around the city without worrying about renting a car.

A nice property for two near downtown

  • 5 of 5

It was a clean, nicely kept condo good for two people with a nice balcony that overlook a peaceful garden with water feature. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils, cutlery, cleaning supplies, hot water kettle, coffee maker and even some left over tea bags, sugar. I wish there was some coffee though. Very close to downtown, shops and restaurants within 10 mins of walk. Really enjoyed the proximity to all the places around.

Nice apartment, close to downtown amenities

  • 4 of 5

The apartment is very nice, clean and well stocked (even with shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom!) Check-in and check-out was personal and very friendly.

The one minor complaint we'd have is that noise can be an issue at night - especially on weekends. But it would not keep us from coming back again - the proximity to downtown Victoria would be worth it!

Lovely suite in a great location

  • 4 of 5

We stayed in your suite for a week in Sept. It was perfect a location. We walked to all the Inner Harbour attractions. The view of the garden courtyard is very nice. We had everything we needed in the suite. We were welcomed and shown around the suite by Diane when we arrived which was helpful. She also gave us directions to a market on Yates that had a super selection of organic foods, a deli and bakery.

Thank you. We would definitely recommend this suite to others who visit Victoria.

Small but clean.

  • 4 of 5

Overall the condo met our purposes. It really is tiny but the parking stall and in-suite laundry are a huge plus. It was a little further from downtown than I originally thought but within 10-15 minute walking distance. Quiet safe neighbourhood. I take issue only with the idea that it "sleeps 3". My daughter and I spent some time trying to figure out how to pull the sofa into a bed only to realize it didn't. The sofa is also not comfortable to sleep on-evidenced by my teenage daughter's back aches. In fairness I reviewed the ad and it does seem to make it known that the sofa doesn't actually convert-my fault, should have read closer. Also, and again it could be my misreading, the parking stall came at an extra price.

Serviceable.

  • 2 of 5

We really needed very little for our short stay in Victoria. We were there for a family wedding, and numerous associated events, so would not be "home" very much. For the most part, this small condo did the trick. Relatively inexpensive, good central location, but nothing special.

We had just come from a VRBO stay in another city and were trying to put our finger on why that one was so much more comfortable. My husband's response was: "In the other place, it felt like it was truly our space for the time we were there. Here, you half expect to open the dresser drawers and find someone else's clothes inside. It's like the real occupant is about to walk in the door."

And I would add that it needs to be aired out! It had a decidedly musty smell - especially the bedroom. Things left hanging in the closet for a day took on that smell. That was enough to convince me to look elsewhere next time.

Owner's Response: Monica and Ken booked the suite without inquiring us. We have received absolutely excellent reviews, mostly in 5-star. While I consider that their review is very constructive for us to improve, we have to take the summer busy season as consideration. We have got this suite all booked during summer without any vacancies. So having their comment, we will definitely air out the suite more often. Thank you for your business, Monica.
