The Morning Star was built in 1885 as a hotel and converted over 100 years later into condominiums. Unit Number Ten has been carefully decorated and filled with premium upgrades. Upon entering this oceanfront unit, you will be immediately enveloped in the warm, welcoming colors of a bygone era. Elegant furnishings will greet you, from the plush, comfortable chairs in the living room to the sleek pedestal table in the dining room. Upgrades and interesting architectural details abound; from the period-authentic tin ceilings that accent the open kitchen, living and dining rooms, to the deep window wells that highlight the Victorian construction.

Although great attention has been paid to honor the building’s historic past, modern conveniences have not been forgotten. The state-of-the art kitchen includes a Jenn-Air cooktop stove, a stainless steel refrigerator and beautiful, and durable granite countertops. Wood floors are used throughout the condominium, offering easy clean-up. Their smooth surface is warmed by gorgeous Oriental rugs throughout the home. The bathroom offers a luxurious retreat, with marble floors and a Jacuzzi tub. It is the perfect place to relax after a busy day on the beach, or a long weekend away.

The unit also includes a small balcony to enjoy beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean while soaking in the sun.

Prime time is Saturday to Saturday rentals only. Rates outside of prime time are $275 per night. Nightly rates will be discounted to $250 per night for stays longer than two nights outside of peak season.

Great Location with much Charm!

The condo was well equipped and in a prime location! The owner was attentive and offered wonderful suggestions/recommendations for the area since it was our first time ever visiting Cape May. We cannot wait to go back!

Seaside Views and Quiet Comfort

This condo unit has everything we needed for winding down from our trip to Israel. We brought our own linens and the sleeping accommodations were as advertised and the rooms well furnished for sleeping and seating and dining. You have excellent access to the water and a comfort station and rinse station as you enter and leave the sand. The shoreline was lovely. The walkers and joggers and restaurants and shops are not too many and not too few. Its the way you would paint it if you designed it complete with the houses that have the seaside charm that takes you back in time. The locals have recommended great places to dine and we have made trips and the lunch and dinner times to Lucky Bones for great variety from burgers to steaks to seaside fare. For breakfast we went a little way (not more than 10 minutes drive) to Uncle Billy's. Great service and if you like a big breakfast this is your place. The word was out about this place and it filled up fast while we were there. The famous lighthouse and nature walk are sites to take in, for sure, but you can walk out your door and enjoy the sounds of the surf pounding the shore if you just want to relax during your stay.

There is a clear view of the seaside from your front and living room windows and your side balcony.

There is easy access with elevator and stair options with ramps if needed.

This property is well maintained and the owner is very accessible for any need that may arise. We received the keys as promised as well as all instructions for parking, wifi, etc.

Recommend this if you need room for family of four or up to six. Room for four to dine and six to sleep comfortably.

Treat yourself to the charm of this beautiful community in Cape May.

This morning we are trying the bagel breakfast spot on Beach Ave a few blocks down. Today we leave and fly back to Texas ready to see home again, but with more than fond memories of Cape May.
