Great Girls Getaway

  • 5 of 5

We had a girls getaway the last week of July. Hilltop Hideaway was just the place we needed! The location was convenient, the cabin was perfectly equipped, and the front porch view was awesome - truly God's Country!!

Lovely site for a cabin. Cabin was clean and well stocked.

  • 5 of 5

The view was to die for. My friend and I spent many hours on the porch enjoying the view. The

kitchen was so well stocked, we did not need to run into town for anything. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms were very clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Getaway Spot

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was exactly as pictured. The view from the front porch is spectacular. We loved eating our breakfast while rocking on the front porch each morning. The bed was very comfortable and the cabin was well stocked.

The location was great for exploring the North Carolina mountains. We visited the top of Wayah Bald (beautiful drive), took a trip on the Smoky Mountain Railroad through Nantahala Gorge, visited the shops in Dillsboro, Dillard and Franklin and took a day trip through the National Park to Gatlinburg. There was so much to do in this area. We will definitely be back!

Long weekend

  • 5 of 5

My sister, husband and I spend four nights at this wonderful house. We went for some relaxation and that's what we got! We spent everyday sitting on the porch reading, talking and just taking in the view. We had everything we needed, except toilet paper. I know some places don't provide paper products, so we had to make a run into town the next morning. That was my oversight. Just make sure you bring some. We ate at the Wicked Pig in Clayton. Excellent BBQ. We ordered the Smokehouse Platter and it was enough for the three of us. We also ate at the Moon Pie Pizzaria in Dillard. It was so good we ate there twice. Between the three of us, over the two visits, we had pizza, strombolli, spaghetti and lasagna. Every dish was fabulous! We certainly enjoyed our visit and already talking about going back.

Owner's Response: Glad to hear you had a nice stay at Hilltop Hideaway and are going to come back. My apologies that you were unable to find the toilet paper. I do provide paper products at the cabin. There is overstock toilet paper in the upstairs bathroom closet and if that has been depleted, I also keep some downstairs in the basement. I look forward to hearing from you when you are ready to return to Hilltop Hideaway. Trinda

Spectacular views and cozy cabin!

  • 5 of 5

We truly enjoyed our stay at Hilltop Hideaway! The cabin was fairly easy to get to (you just never know with mountain gravel roads) and we found it with no problem. It was perfect for the two us but would accommodate a small family without any problem. We loved sitting on the front porch looking at the "smoke" blow over the mountains early in the morning. If you are looking for a mountain getaway with a spectacular view and privacy, this is your place! Trinda was very easy to work with and very accommodating. Don't hesitate to book this place if you are in the Franklin, NC area (easy 10 minute drive to Franklin)!
