Remodeled Craftsman house, old world charm with elegant modern interior in a quiet neighborhood. Private yard. Walking distance to Downtown Olympia. Close drive to Evergreen State College. Co-op/health food store one block away.
Home features hardwood floors, tile bathrooms, gourmet kitchen, new cozy queen beds, large dining area, and a comfortable spacious living room.Up a spiral staircase in the hallway there is a large kid room with bean bags, games, two twin beds and plenty of room for playing.
We love the quiet, well established neighborhood filled with old beautiful homes. We also love the Olympia Coffee Roasters just a couple blocks away, and we enjoy the West side co-op just down the street for getting great healthy food (2 blocks away).
The home is at the head of the Garfield nature trail. It is a nature trail that meanders throughout a five-acre ravine from West Bay Drive to North Rogers Street. It is a nice way to head downtown!
From the little yellow house, it is awesome to walk in to the city center and have dinner or breakfast, then after to stroll around Capitol Lake. You can visit the art galleries, the shops, and walk along the bay.
If you need to shop or want to see a movie, we are less than a mile from the Westfield Mall. This is a great home in a great location.

About Ahtumn Delacroix
We are a growing family, that loves to travel...We like to have the experience, when traveling, that has a more comfortable, and more local feel than a hotel. That has lead us to many VRBO properties, and even more memories made.
Ahtumn Delacroix purchased this House in 2013
Why Ahtumn Delacroix chose Northwest Olympia
We found this home and bought it to resell, but while remodeling, we fell in love with the home, and its character, not to mention the location! We then decided to keep it as an investment, and a vacation spot for when in the sweet Olympia area.

Loved this cute house
We had a great stay at this house. We had two 2 year old boys between our two families and they had plenty of room to play! Not to mention the house had some great toys to keep them occupied. We would stay here again for sure!
Very clean, attractive, comfortable and convenient for us. Will likely return.
We had a wonderful family gathering planned, and being in the Yellow House made everything so easy! Enjoyed hiking around the neighborhood and the hardier hiked to the Capitol and back. We noticed a few individual ants in the kitchen/dining room when we arrived but did not find a source. The house was very clean, attractive and comfortable.
We had a wonderful stay at the Yellow House! It was comfy and in a great location. A perfect home ba
The house had everything we needed to cook, be entertained and sleep! Delightful.
This little cottage was clean and perfect for my family visit. The location is great!
The owners were wonderful. They even set up a special bed for my two year old grandson. Everything was convenient (the park and food coop and Hart Mesa and Children’s museum). I would recommend this home to friends and stay there again when I have a chance.
Holiday in Washington
Great location near the center of Olympia. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was well-appointed. However, the house is advertised as having cable TV which was not true and was rather frustrating as our rental occurred during the NFL football season and the NCAA bowl games over Christmas. Grrr.
2-2018...UPDATE!!: I wanted to let you know that we do take to heart every suggestion that our guests give us, and because we saw how frustrated you were, we did install cable. I hope your new year is wonderful, thanks again for booking with us!
12/2017- I am so sorry you were disappointed! However, we do not advertise cable tv in our listing. We do offer a TV, DVD player and Roku/Internet streaming for our guests. Cable rates have gotten so high, that we choose not to offer it in order to keep our nightly rates reasonable. Again, I apologize if you misunderstood and that you were frustrated. I am glad that you were happy with everything else in the home! Thank you for staying with us! Ahtumn
Super cute house right in the middle of town
We rented this place for my parents. The host was amazing( we booked with her before) she is super attentive. This property was so cute, clean and plenty of room for us to spread out. We will definitely book this place again.
Down town, (just a ten minute walk down the hill), has much to offer! Some of which are, the farmers market ( biggest in the state), art galleries, restaurants on the water, the marina, the Capitol (set above the beautiful capitol lake which is a great spot for a walk), coffee houses, live theaters and many shops. Percival Landing has 1.5 miles of boardwalk with artwork and interpretive displays outline the history of the harbor. The Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge offers miles of level trails for those interested in Puget Sound Wildlife, especially birds. To help capture your findings, they are complete with viewing platforms and photo blinds. Also, the Hands-On Children's Museum, a state-of-the-arts educational playground for kids of all ages. It's right next door to the Wet Science Museum. It showcases the water cycle and how we humans participate in both polluting and cleaning our water. There is still so much more in Olympia!
