June 26: I rented this property for August 1 - August 31 and received a confirmation email.
July 26: The owner told me the property was occupied and would not be available until August 12.
July 26: I offered to rearrange my life to reschedule for August 16 - September 16, and asked for confirmation.
July 31: Having received no further response, I asked for my money to be returned.
The owner never returned my money. Fortunately, I paid through a credit card, and they reimbursed me.
I apologize about the miscommunication and the delay in my response. It is entirely my fault; I should have handed your case better. I didn’t reimburse you because, I couldn’t understand fast enough the procedure on how to do it from the VRBO website as it is the first time I cancel a reservation.
You contacted the VISA company to cancel it and it was the right thing to do. I received a confirmation that you were fully reimbursed now and I assumed all the penalty fees and related charges for the cancellation.
5 star accommodation!
I stayed for a little more than 2 months in this lovely apartment. The host is great and the place is well located and maintained. This flat is a 5 star accommodation! I recommend it.
