Doral at Beach Club
We enjoyed our stay at in Doral. The common areas of the Beach Club are well-maintained/clean. The pools are fun; although it is a bummer that you can’t bring your own drinks to the main and best pool.
The view from our condo was amazing. It was a very short walk to the beach, and the kids were able to play in the low tide.
I gave our stay three stars bc of the condition of the condo. It was very dated and appeared moldy in some places. It even smelled musty. The bed in the master had a very noticeable dip in the mattress that made it uncomfortable. The coffee pot was missing parts so we had to purchase one from the store (which was a good 30 mins away). There was a lot of unnecessary furniture in the condo that took up a lot of space. Some of the patio furniture was rusted out and could potentially break if used.
All in all, I would return to the beach club. However, I would book through spectrum and request a room that has been recently renovated. I felt like Doral 801 (along with likely many of the condos) need some TLC.
Away from the hustle and bustle of Gulf Shores, The Beach Club Resort & Spa serves as an oasis for families looking for the perfect beach vacation. Located on the Fort Morgan Peninsula, The Beach Club spans over 86 acres of private beaches, gorgeous walking trails and all the amenities of a full-service resort.
