After reading one or two ads, these things really start running together and you focus on the price and forget it. I would hope that my ad would be more helpful than that. So I’ll think a little outside the box here. If you want the same-old information, see my neighbors’ ads. My ad will tell you the rest!

There are three buildings at Waterscape. It is shaped like a 'U'. The beach would be at the top of the U. A and B buildings are down the sides and the C building is on the bottom, parallel to the beach. This unit is located in the C building, farthest from the beach. However, do NOT be deterred. It's not very far. You have an awesome view of the Gulf both from the inside of the unit and from the spacious patio as well. We are the only building that directly faces the beach. Many people ask me how far we are. I think the correct distance is 100 yards, about the length of a football field. Walking from the C building to the beach is like taking a stroll through paradise. Waterscape grounds are phenomenal!!

Before buying in Waterscape, I had never stayed in the C building before. As we looked at the condos for sale we were weighing A vs. B. On the last day, we visited C. My husband and I both were in immediate agreement: this is where it’s at!! The first thing that got us was the layout. The kitchens in A and B are TINY. It is SO FRUSTRATING. There is limited cabinet space, limited space to store your groceries except right on the counter. And when you do, then there’s no counterspace to work. The kitchens in the C building are very large. More than one person can go in at a time and there’s plenty of room for everything, including cooking! Next benefit: Parking! This may not seem like a big deal but after staying in the B building MANY times and then staying in our unit, I realized I had no idea what I was missing. It’s very convenient. If I forgot something in the car, 10 seconds and it’s in the condo. The only units that have back door parking are units in the C building. And, it's covered parking, which is really nice in the hot Florida sun!

C505 has been completely upgraded and has its own personality. It is colorful and classy, decorated with beachy flair, and most importantly to me, IT IS NOT CLUTTERED. If I see one more fake plant (I mean dust collector) inside a condo I think I’ll scream. I have two small kids and when we go to the beach, we bring our house with us. I don’t need extra clutter already awaiting me! C505 is a unit for families. I love children and they are welcome in my unit. I have an all-terrain wagon here to help you get around the property. I am also the only owner in Waterscape with a hammock on the patio. Have you ever napped in one of these things while the sounds of the waterfall puts you to sleep? It is wonderful!!

For the grown-ups, to start with, we have new pillowtop sleep number beds in both bedrooms. Adjust it to soft or firm, whatever fits you best. These beds are wonderful! We have nice TVs in every room. I have big, thick towels, and the kitchen is stocked with nice gadgets, including a kitchenaid mixer, crock pot, and everything you need to make the meals of your choice. I rented at Waterscape for a long time—I know how frustrating it is to go in a unit and barely be able to find a spatula. It drives me insane!! You are renting at a top-rated resort. In my opinion, each unit should reflect that. Many owners own a unit for an investment and don’t oversee the unit closely. You will not find that in my unit. We care for it immaculately.

My bunk room is a hit with the kids. I get comments from almost every family telling me how their kids loved the bunk room. My pleasure! In this unit I have installed a custom made light blocking drapery at the entry way. It will block out all the light into the bunk room so your kids can nap during the day, or sleep late in the morning without the kitchen lights disturbing them. I know rest for them means rest for you. Again my pleasure.

I don’t charge any fees except tax and cleaning--another benefit of working directly with an owner. You aren’t paying the middle-man. Please keep in mind: If your dates leave a 1 or 2 day gap in my calendar before or after your visit, it makes those dates unrentable. I do not like this (its like giving away two free nights to get you into my unit), and it's why most owners rent by the week. I will most likely decline your dates if they cause unrentable gaps in my calendar. (Sorry in advance, but it's just business.)

How to book: Booking with me is quite easy. I email you 3 simple documents to fill out and sign. You return them with your $250 deposit. The deposit secures your reservation and covers any damage to the unit that you might cause. I return the deposit after your stay if the unit is left in the same condition as found. All of this is covered in detail in the rental paperwork. If you have questions about anything, of course, I’m just an email or phone call away.

Technical details about C505:

The unit sleeps 8 people comfortably.

**Master BR has a king Sleep Number bed. Master bath has double vanities, a walk in shower, and a large bathtub.

**Guest BR has a queen Sleep Number bed. Guest bath has a single vanity and walk in shower (no tub).

**Bunk Room has bunk beds (2 twins), of course.

**Couch bed is queen size.

No keys. C505 has a keypad lock. You set the code when you arrive. No dealing with the front desk. You can go straight to the condo. No dealing with keys on your trip either. Never again will I dig through a sandy beach bag trying to find a key to get in.

The unit has all the amenities you’d expect. Washer/Dryer, dishwasher, icemaker, etc.

And don’t be fooled by the savvy ads on VRBO—EVERYBODY has free WiFi!!

~I no longer buy in to Waterscape's beach service. Most of the time my units have more than 2 adults and providing 2 chairs either separates families or costs them an additional $120 to rent another set. Then you get stuck on the 2nd or 3rd row with no view, and they pull the chairs up 2 hours before sunset. To better serve my guests, I now include 4 very nice beach chairs with built in coolers, an 8' umbrella (larger than beach service's) with a twist-in anchor for easy setup, and a huge rolling beach cart with sand wheels (also with a built in cooler) for ease in carrying it to and from. This way, you can set up wherever you like and stay as long as you want, avoid the crowds, and have the freedom to take up as much space as you like.

We are a family of 4 from Birmingham, Alabama. We own two properties at Waterscape. We absolutely love visiting here. We have been coming for 5 years and it never gets old. It's a new experience every time. We just love it!

Why Waterscape C505 chose Fort Walton Beach

We LOVE the C building. It is a gem that everyone overlooks because it is the farthest from the beach. We love the back door parking and the straight-on view of the beach. We also love the larger kitchens and being able to see the beauty of the resort from our balcony. Our view is wonderful and this condo is super cute!

What makes this condo unique

Back door parking is huge!! We like facing the water also. The units in the C building have very large kitchens and lots of cabinet space. If you plan to eat in a lot, you need this extra space. I rented units with smaller kitchens in the A and B buildings for 4 years before I tried the C building. We ended up buying here. That's should say enough.

This was my family's first real vacation in years and our first trip to the emerald coast. The condo was IMMACULATE and the owner, Danica, has everything you could possibly need for your visit.. particularly if you're traveling with little kids like we were. Pictures do not do the unit justice... It is very spacious, clean and comfortable. My preschooler LOVED the bunk room. Mom and Dad LOVED the large covered balcony. In terms of location in the waterscape, this unit is perfection. You can see the beach and the grounds. I read some reviews stating the beach was a hike from the unit.. I could not disagree more. Its an easy walk... particularly with the cart Danica provides. This was hands down one of the best vacations my family has been on. We loved the Waterscape, Okaloosa Island and Danica's unit so much, we are already booked for next year. If I could give this place more stars, I would. (My only hesitation in leaving this review is that other people will find out about how fabulous the unit is and take dates away from a future visit for us)

Wonderful week!

This unit was just perfect! It was clean and well decorated. I personally loved laying in the hammock on the balcony! The kids loved the bunk room and the cute monogrammed t-shirts Danica left for them. We enjoyed many of the recommendations made by Danica as well: Helen Back, The Buccaneers Pirate Cruise and The Gulf (just to name a few). She was super helpful and really helped to make our vacation as stress free as possible. Thank you for everything Danica!!

Beautiful condo, great views, awesome complex!!

This was our first visit to the Emerald Coast and our first stay in this condo. Loved it from the moment we walked in. Very clean, beautifully decorated, nice appliances, washer/dryer/etc. Owner has thought of everything. Very good to work with, very detailed and helpful. Loved all the attention to detail we have not had in other condos we have stayed in, from labeling all the light switches, remotes, etc, to helpful hints about the condo, grounds, how to get around, where to go for good food, etc. that were sent to us before our stay. The views from this condo were stunning. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful Waterscape Unit!

We stayed at Waterscapes 4/15/17 - 4/20/17. The unit was immaculate! Let me just say that our friends were 2 units down from us in a property NOT owned by Danica, and there was a huge difference in the level of cleanliness and overall feel of the unit. I especially loved the Keurig to have my morning coffee! My girls (ages 3 and 5) loved the adorable bunk beds and watching their morning cartoons on the comfy couch. Danica was so easy to work with and as a HUGE BONUS was able to get us in to our unit much earlier in the day than expected! She also had monogrammed shirts waiting for my girls that were SUPER adorable! She really goes the extra mile to make sure you are happy! We will be booking again!

I don't normally leave reviews but we were so pleased I just had to. This is absolutely the cutest, cleanest, most amazing condo I have ever stayed in and I travel a lot. Danica was so sweet and easy to work with. This unit has everything you could ever want from the sleep number beds to the beach chairs and carts to the beach music playing upon arrival. Also the monogrammed shirts for the kiddos was an extra special touch! We will definitely be back!! Thank you Danica for a FABULOUS stay!!

We recently spent an absolutely amazing week in condo C505! Danica takes great pride in ownership and that shows from the second you walk in the door! The condo was clean, wonderfully decorated, and had everything you would need for a week of relaxation! The view and the sound of the waterfall is heaven on earth(I could sit on that balcony all day long)! It was so nice having beach toys, chairs, and an umbrella provided! We spent our mornings at the pool, afternoons at the beach, and our kids favorite part was going for a swim at night in the heated pool! We have stayed at previous condos that were dirty, dated, and the beds left you needing a chiropractor! You won't find that here! Everything is well cared for and the beds are great! We all agreed it was our favorite, most relaxing vacation so far and we can't wait to come back! Thank you so much Danica!

**These prices are reduced based on free payment methods (check, Paypal) which is how 95% of my renters pay. If you want to pay by credit card your rate will be increased 4%. (I don't want to increase rates for the 95% to cover the fees of the 5%.)

**Cancellation Policy: Beyond 60 days before arrival: Anything you have paid will be returned in full. Between 30 & 60 days before arrival, deposit lost unless unit is re-rented. If it is re-rented, then deposit is returned less $25 fee. Within 30 days of arrival, rent and deposit lost unless unit is re-rented. If unit is re-rented, rent and deposit are returned in full less a $50 fee. I never keep your money if I am able to re-rent. :-)

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
