The condo was beautiful, spacious, and close to everything

I have rented many condos in Summit County, and this was far and away the best condo in all aspects. My wife and I, along with our three children (ages 15-20), had plenty of room to be together yet not feel like you were in each other's space. The location was great, it was an easy walk to all the places that we like to go to in Breck. Kirk the owner was very responsive and regularly checked in (via email) to make sure that our stay was going well.

Loved it!

We really enjoyed this place for our summer vacation. It is walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in downtown Breckenridge/Main Street. There was a pool and several hot tubs that we enjoyed using. We walked to 2 hikes that were right near our place that we really enjoyed. The place itself had plenty of room and was very nice. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice location and property

Our family spent our summer vacation that the Water House property. My wife and I have kids from 16-1 years old to add context.

Pro's:

Location is great for convenience to downtown. It was nice to be able to walk to most of the dining/shopping in downtown.

The unit is very nice and up-to-date. Hardwood floors, granite, finishings, etc are top quality.

Beds are very comfortable and bathrooms/closets were very large.

Kitchen is very-well stocked and was able to cook most meals easily for a large family.

Unit has a very nice view of the stream and mountains in distance.

Community amenities were nice: pool was large and a number of hot tubs adjacent were nice and not too far from the unit. Exercise room is adequate with steam room.

Wi-fi was adequate for online activities as well.

Con's:

I must have missed in fine print that the unit is not air-conditioned. Opening the windows would not have been an issue to regulate temperature but the unit is near Main Street so you get A LOT of road noise. So you have to choose between comfort and noise.

We had some issues with Directv while we were there. Were able to navigate around but was a bit of a pain. Am sure they could have been corrected but we didn't want to hassle with it.

Overall, we were satisfied with the unit and would visit again. If you are looking for something that is near downtown but with access to the mountain, this is a solid place to stay.

Just so a reader is not confused about the temperatures in Breck during the summer, here are the averages: Hi Low June 34° 67° July 39° 73° August 38° 71° No Unit in Waterhouse has an air conditioner. Main Street is fairly close so if a reader is easily disturbed by noise, this may not be your unit. For perspective, among the 10 renters so far the summer, this is the first mention of noise as a problem.

It was the perfect place!

This place was so great for our family! It had everything we needed and is in the perfect location. Once we arrived, we did not need our car, since it is walking distance to everything!! We can't wait to rent this place again

Great summer vacation!

My family and I stayed here over the July 4th holiday. We had two couples and three children. The condo was very clean and offered all the comforts of home. It was the perfect place for us. The owners were very responsive and accommodating. The condo is within walking distance to shopping and restaurants in town. Underground parking was convenient to get in/out for day trips.
