Casa Alma Positano -House With Large Terrace
In the heart of Positano, behind winding narrow streets with typical domed houses, lies Casa Alma. The house is only accessible on foot. The extremely spacious covered balcony offers a wonderful view of the historical town center with its old churches and buildings, all the way down to the verdant green landscape of the Amalfi coast. In this region, the large balcony can be used as an extra room ' living al fresco giving you that feeling of being especially close to heaven. The colors of the sea and the sky continue from the balcony to the blue-green tiles of the interior, connecting the dining and living areas. The apartment itself is decorated in functional family style, with the friendly yellow kitchen area drawing the eye. The living room area is equipped with a large flat-screen TV and air conditioning. A modern staircase leads directly from the living area to one of the two bedrooms. This cosy sleeping area with a double bed is on a wooden gallery. A second bedroom on the same level as the living room features a raised bed, perfect for children in particular.
Square meters: 45, 1st F.: kitchen/living room with single sofa bed, loft with 1 double bed (open onto the kitchen/living room), 1 small bedroom with bunk bed, 1 bathroom with shower, terrace.

Lovely appartment away from the crowds!
Myself, my wife and 6 year old daughter spent 8 nights at the apartment. Really nice, quiet and about 15mins walk from the town. Lovely to be away from the tourist crowds in August. Recommended!
Would definitely return and recommend to anyone.
Perfect place to soak in the local feel of Positano
The property was very well outfitted with all the essentials of home. Although it is up a number of stairs, the Chiesa Nuova location was very convenient for catching the Positano Interno bus and the Sita buses to Amalfi and Sorrento.
During our stay there was a show every evening in the square outside the church.
On our check in day we were in text contact with Maria Dolores and she showed us the ropes for the home, which was a really nice touch. She oriented us to the area and gave us her recommendations for restaurants which we very much enjoyed.
We were disappointed with our experience at Casa Alma. The property looked good upon our arrival, May-June 2016, clean and ready for new guests, but there was a problem of which the owner and the owner's local proxy were unaware. The property had no Internet service, which was in contradiction to its amenities description on the VRBO website. We had no way to research the area, contact family members at home, and most important, no way to confirm our flights home. We spent one night because we had arrived in the evening, but we left the property the following morning. We were lucky to find a hotel with one room available, and when we got to the hotel, we were able to contact the owner and the owner's proxy by email because the hotel had WiFi service. Had we stayed at Casa Alma, we would have had no way to contact them. We informed them of the Internet problem at the property, and though the owner had service restored later that day, we had already committed to renting the hotel room. I asked for a refund for the three nights that I had no choice but to cancel, and she refused. I will not consider using VRBO or HomeAway again. It is disconcerting to be far from home with a service you can't rely on.
Perfect apartment for a getaway
My husband and I stayed four days at this delightful apartment in the heart of beautiful Positano. The location was nice because we wanted to stay a little further away from the touristy area. The terrace was huge and filled with flowers and plants, even a lemon tree, which we found very relaxing. Since the apartment is up the hill, there is a pleasant view of the church, buildings, and some of the sea.The apartment had everything we needed for our four day stay including some yummy goodies. Maria was very helpful in recommending lovely and delicious places to eat, things to do, and if you are inspired to cook -where to get your groceries nearby. The bus stops are convenient - there are lots of steps in Positano. However, we enjoyed the narrow pathways that lead us to new discoveries each day. We also liked the fact that there is a washer in the apartment for use.
Beautiful peaceful terrace
We had a lovely time in this beautiful apartment, tucked away from the busy tourist areas of Positano. We spent our days exploring the lovely town and the sea, and then we spent our evenings on this peaceful and quiet terrace. It's a bit of a walk into the beach area of the town, but it truly gives you the real feel of being a local instead of a tourist. The apartment was clean, modern and a pleasure to be in, we wished we could have stayed longer!
