About Carol Watters

I am a Native of St. Augustine and local Real-Estate agent. My family built this tranquil lakefront home several years ago. We have had years of family fun on beautiful Lake Ida, our home away from home.

Carol Watters purchased this house in 2011

Why Carol Watters chose Interlachen

You get so much bang for your buck. Close but still far away. Everything you need on hand so you never have to leave. Arrive day one with your groceries and sit back and relax. This property is secluded enough to feel as though you are by yourselves while close enough to any local amenities you may need.

What makes this house unique

Lake Ida is a 45 min. drive from home, the Nations Oldest City, but still far enough away for us to feel like we are on vacation as soon as we arrive.

Lakefront Retreat

  • 4 of 5

We spent the month of February, 2018 at this property and enjoyed the relaxation. The sunsets were beautiful and very peaceful. We were able to travel to different areas from this location and get a feel for Florida. You could tell that the home was filled with the owner's love and memories. We had a great time and would highly recommend this property for someone that wants a peaceful, relaxing vacation.

Great Place for a Getaway

  • 5 of 5

My only regret is that we did not have enough time to really relax as we were there for a "welcome" to the family party for my new niece. She and my nephew tied the knot in a small beach wedding in July. Between helping to get everything set up and food prepared we barely had time to breath! We only cooked 1 breakfast, showered and slept there! Coffee was great on the porch. Beautiful view and the toys provided are great. Hope to go back real soon.

A perfect long weekend with grandchildren.

  • 5 of 5

From the rental process, to access onto property and the condition of the place...great, great, great. We had 4 grandsons with us and they had a blast. The property and house are big, clean and comfortable. Lots of towels and other bathroom products and the water pressure was good. Kitchen was well equipped and I cooked a few times. Nice size indoor table and huge outdoor table on a wide and beautiful porch. There also was a nice grocery store, Hitchcock's just minutes away for the few things we needed.

Did I mention the huge crystal clear lake, with clean water, paddle boat, kayak and all the children's favorite, a slide off the dock. They must have gone down it a 1000 times. None of us wanted to leave. Thanks, Lisa!!!

Relaxation at its best!

  • 5 of 5

We had we had a wonderful time at the lake house and can't wait to stay again!!! Lisa is wonderful to deal with, we only had a couple of issues while staying at the house that were promptly dealt with. The kids loved the lake, my mother-in-law got to relax, and we all had a great time. We made smores in the fire pit, grilled out for dinners, there were more than enough towels for all of us, we had everything we needed for our large family! We can't wait to book again next year! The lake house quickly became our favorite vacation spot. Lisa the owner is very friendly easy to work with, and a pleasure to do business with. We didn't want to leave!

This home was just perfect. We needed a place to stay at the last minute. Lisa was extremely accommodating in our time of need. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Our grandkids had a blast playing in the lake. Would love to come back for a real relaxing vacation again!

If you are a licensed SCUBA/Nitrox/cavern or cave diver this is an awesome launch point for you to go to the mid state springs, and leave the family in an environment thy will absolutely love if they would prefer to not go with you.

Also speaking of gearing up, don't forgot to grab that golf bag, as TPC Sawgrass, and other notable golf courses are all within driving range, (no pun intended). Plus the World Golf Village is within an hours drive with other premier golf courses.
