Very bright and tastefully decorated 2 bedroom corner apartment located in the heart of historical Paris, right between the pedestrian shopping areas of Les Halles and Montorgueil, 5 minutes from Centre Georges Pompidou (museum of modern art), and 10 minutes from Le Louvre, 30+ restaurants & cafes less than 200m away.

Besides, it just cannot be better connected to public transportation & airports/stations: Metro line 4 is 40m away (direct to Gare du Nord, Gare de l'Est and Gare Montparnasse), RER A, B & D (direct to CDG & Orly) & metro lines 1, 7, 11, 14 are 200m away.

This bright and cozy 5-window apartment has just been renovated and offers a contemporary yet natural style with all necessary amenities (all included in the price): broadband internet wifi, cable TV, DVD-Blu-ray, ipod station, washer, dryer... Strong attention was given to isolation, making it a quiet place nested in the city's most central and lively part. From there, most of Paris attractions are walking distance, and every street has some history to unveil!

We would love to welcome you in person and provide you with some advice throughout your Parisian stay (restaurants, outings, special requests etc). Moreover, a booklet has been written for you with all necessary information about the apartment, and the surroundings (shops, restaurants & bars).

Besides French, we do speak English, German, Italian, Spanish and Polish.

This apartment is perfect for families/group of friends up to 6 people at a very affordable price and great standard (everything is brand new from late 2013) considering the top central location in Paris. I can give advice on restaurants in the area or through the whole city, as I am also an events company owner.

Perfect apartment in great location

We just completed a visit to Paris for a quick vacation and stayed at this lovely apartment. Stephane is a wonderful host and made our stay very comfortable with his thoughtful touches. The location is ideal for exploring Paris by foot and metro - we were at the center of everying we wanted to do. The furnishings and layout were perfect for our family of three. We will return when we can.

Roomy, hip, central Paris pad

We had a great stay at Stephane's Paris flat. Not only was it roomy, but its location put us right in the center of things. The decor is stylish and pleasant, and the kitchen and bathroom are well appointed. Stephane took us through everything we needed to know in detail, including how to use the washing machine and dryer. (Yes, you heard me right: a dryer, in Paris!! And yes, we used it; worked great.) He speaks great English too, which helped us a lot, even though I speak a little French. We slept great in comfortable beds, and were even able to take a hot bath.

The location is right off a pedestrian-only street that leads you to the Seine. Night life in the area is SUPER lively, so be prepared for a lot of activity, but the windows are surprisingly soundproof, so once you close them, it quiets right down. Stephane directed us to the best street for bakeries, just a couple blocks up, and that is where we found the "oldest shop in Paris," along with tons of shopping. From the flat we walked to Notre Dame, outside of which is a stop for an on/off river cruise, which worked great for our sightseeing. There are a couple nice clothes shops and a market that you can see from the master bedroom window. Super convenient. Also, the flat is right over a crepe shop, so be prepared for delicious smells to waft up if you open the windows. You will HAVE to get a crepe before you go.

What we liked best about our stay was how available, thorough, and conscientious Stephane is. He answered every question, and went above and beyond to give our friend directions to her train the day we left.

Things that could be improved are some of the furnishings, which are ready to be replaced, but everything is functional and works fine for a short stay. Plus, knowing Stephane, he's probably already working on upgrades. The security deposit is large, but if you are normal guests like us, and don't leave destruction in your wake, you'll get your deposit back. Knowing the cost of flats in Paris, and hearing how some guests have trashed airbnbs, I'm not surprised about the hefty deposit.

All in all, I highly recommend the flat to anyone who needs a little bit of extra room for 3 or more guests, wants to be in the center of things, and have easy access to attractions. A terrific choice.

Immaculate Flat in Great Location

Three of us arrived at the flat and we were greeted personally by Stephane. He spent a good 20 minutes explaining all of the features of the flat, how things worked, what grocery stores, restaurants, & transportation were nearby. The flat is in a great location with a number of pedestrian only streets nearby filled with restaurants & shops, and the metro is 2 mins walk. Both bedbrooms had comfortable beds, windows that opened up for fresh air, and also did a good job of keeping out the noise when closed. The flat itself was very clean and organized and well stocked with supplies. There is a washer & separate dryer that we found most convenient to use.

We have rented several flats in other cities through VRBO however I must say that this flat is one of the most well maintained units, and Stephan is by far the most organized, friendly, hands-on and efficient owners that we have dealt with. It was an absolute pleasure staying here.
