Great Breckenridge ski vacation!!

  • 5 of 5

The property was very nice and clean. We had everything we needed to unwind after a great day of skiing. We were only blocks from main street and right across from the free shuttle bus stop.

Took my family to Breckenridge, stayed at this property. Great location!

  • 4 of 5

This ski Hill Rd. property was an easy walk to town. It was on the bus route for the free shuttle to and from the peaks. It was well maintained and updated and worked great for our family.

Location location location

  • 4 of 5

This condo was ideal for skiing-in, getting to the gondola, and exploring downtown! The condo itself was comfortable, well-supplied with everything needed for cooking and relaxing, including extra toiletries, spices, and condiments, and lots of games and toys. The living area was bright and open.

The only negatives were the cleanliness was a little lax, in that there was a damp dirty washcloth found beside the bed in the master bedroom and the refrigerator water/ice dispenser was really dirty.

The heating system was uneven, very warm on the upper floor and very cold in the bedrooms downstairs. With 14-degree nights, I had to sleep in a toboggan downstairs, while the couple in the master bedroom upstairs were uncomfortably warm.

Owner's Response: Thank you, Susan for your review. I am glad that you thought the location was good for your trip! Thank you for your feedback regarding cleanliness. We use professional cleaners prior to and after every stay. I will follow up with the cleaning company. We might need more clear instructions regarding the heating system. There are two controls in the condo, one for heating the downstairs and the other for the upstairs. Thank you for staying with us and hope that your trip to Breckenridge was wonderful! Wonderful place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for our first-ever vacation at Breckenridge and it was great. I loved the multiple levels so our extended family could spread out and there were plenty of beds for the 5 of us to choose from. We were all beginner skiers but one of us advanced enough in skiing to use the ski-in feature. It was very convenient to walk downtown and to the gondola. We would definitely return here!

Great place to stay with family

  • 5 of 5

Our family traveled to Breckenridge in early January and this property was perfect for us! We have four kids, so the layout was wonderful. The kids used the two bedrooms downstairs, which gave them some space and privacy. The bedroom with the four bunk beds is a little tight, but it worked fine. The upstairs area is very nice and open and the kitchen has everything we needed. We had a lot of space to spend time together. The kids played several of the games that were in the unit.

We also liked the location a lot. It was very easy to walk to town and also easy to get to the ski hills via the shuttle. We did not do the walk to the gondola, but it seemed convenient as well. We've stayed in several other locations in Breckenridge over the years and this one was very nice because it was equally convenient to town and skiing.

The check-in process was very fast and easy. Everything was ready on time. We didn't encounter any issues at all during our stay, so we didn't have any further communication with the property managers. The property owners responded to everything we needed very quickly during the rental process.

We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely condo in a wonderful town.

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our family vacation time in your Breckenridge condo. You added lots of nice touches to improve our stay. For example we did not have to go to the store for cleaners, spices, cooking oil, toilet paper, or laundry detergent. Not every VRBO properties will stock these items, but it makes the stay nicer. Thank you.

Beds are comfy. Heated floors are nice. The easy light fireplace was so nice to warm up our girls after being out in the cold. The heated garage is convenient for both car and skis. The coat racks and bench seat in the entry way is ideal for taking off boots, coats and gear after being out in the snow.

I have only 2 small suggestions for improvement: Nice flat screen TVs in every bedroom and living room is great, but would be nicer with an HD cable package.

I know the owners are not coffee drinkers, but it would not cost much to upgrade the extremely slow (cheap) coffee maker. This was a time waster when we wanted to get out to the slopes in the morning. The coffee machine does not shut itself off automatically, which we learned the hard way.

Overall this was a wonderful stay!

Owner's Response: Thank you for the five star review! I am glad that you found all of the comforts of home. You are correct that we are not coffee drinkers but based off your feedback I am going to purchase a coffee maker today for the condo! My husband will look into the suggestion of HD cable in the rooms. We hope that you will stay with us for your next trip to Breckenridge! Thanks to you, Fara and Russell
