Cabin, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 10)
Why Bill chose Green Valley Lake
We stayed in this wonderful area on a yearly basis as children with our parents, so what better place to share with our children as they grow-up. A 'safe' and cherished community in the San Bernardino mountains.
What makes this Cabin unique
Private, secluded, safe and wonderful mountain community for family and children to be able to explore all year round. Our cabin is the last on our street - 100 miles of National Forest out our back door.

Quiet mountain retreat
We had a great time. Cabin is located right next to trails that end in fantastic views of the mountains beyond.
Fabulous time spent in this charming cozy cabin!
Wonderful experience and great communication with the owner who was courteous, professional, and ethical. My family and I spent memorable stay in this comfortable cabin that accommodated comfortably all the 10 of us for the two night stay. We felt like home as everything was provided with clean linens, towels, kitchen ustensiles, amenities, etc. We recommend this rustic beautiful place whether it is for family trip or romantic gateway. We will definitely come back on our next Christmas holidays to enjoy the snow. A big thank you to Bill for allowing us to stay in his cabin.
My friends and I had a great visit to the cabin. It was so lovely and cozy and quiet. The neighborhood is charming and the cabin is great. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a rustic getaway.
Peaceful and Relaxing
The location at the end of the street where the forest begins is wonderful for easy access to the many trails. It was so relaxing hearing the wind rustle through the trees bringing the pine scent and seeing the blue skies with the white puffy clouds which seem so close. The owner was responsive and easy to reach by phone. The description that there's parking for 3 cars need to be revised to show that there's only parking for 2 cars. Some minor points for improvement: no spare trash bags could be found, and hand soap containers was full but seem to have been severely watered down. Despite how much we enjoyed our stay, we would probably not return because of the cabin requirement (which we did not know before arrival) that we have to wash and dry all the linens before departure. To wash the bed sheets and pillow cases took 3 loads, which was extremely time consuming especially when it could not begin until we wake up and are rushing to leave the cabin in the morning.
We’re very happy you enjoyed your stay at our home. We strive to ensure everything is as we expect it when we’re there.
Unfortunately, we had back to back guests upon your arrival, so it seems there was a shortage of hand soap.
Also, we only ask guests to start laundry (if they’re checking out late), as it allows for a smooth process for the next guest. I apologize that you misunderstood, you were not required to launder the linens.
On your next visit, we will grant you a FREE night, we want all our guests to continue to create wonderful memories.
Nice, Quiet Getaway!
Beautiful cabin tucked up against the forest! Lots of hiking right outside the door. Amazing views just 10 minutes out. The cabin is positioned at the end of the street with no through traffic. Only foot traffic of locals on their way to hike. Large deck with picnic table, settee and two chairs. There was a gas grill but I didn't use it so cannot attest to how it works. Jacuzzi was working perfectly to soothe the muscles. Loved the simplicity of the mountain decor and furnishings were super comfortable! Kitchen was pretty well stocked and was easy to cook a fine meal without needing to go out. The fireplace was in great condition and the mountain breeze was so refreshing wafting through all the large amount of windows. The bed I slept in was a nice size queen with lovely flannel sheets and was very comfortable! The upstairs enclosed shower was in really nice condition and great water pressure. Whole cabin was very clean throughout. There is a small village store a few minutes away and the lake is small and tranquil looking. I guess it is stocked and you can rent boats to fish/play and has a little beach to swim. I had the pleasure of meeting several neighbors and all were friendly, helpful and kind. Really loved my stay here and look forward to visiting again! Even had a 6.4 earthquake on 4th of July epicenter a few hours away and the cabin just rolled smoothly along with nothing falling out of place! Mountain living at it's best!! Thank you, Bill, for sharing it with the world...
I'm so happy that you enjoyed our "home away from home", the same as we do. It's a very special place ... cathartic, cleansing and rejuvenating. I hope we can host you again. You were the very best type of guest we hope to host, treated our home as if it we yours!
We stayed at Bill’s cabin and had a great time, very clean and welcoming property right up against the national forest. We went during a large winter storm and got a cumulative 6 feet of snow over 3 days! It was great, the kids loved it, and we cannot wait to go back again! Thanks Bill!
Green Valley Lake is between Lake Arrowhead & Big Bear...but, we are 4 1/2 miles Higher up in the mountains, making us the Highest community in the mountains. We get More Snow than anywhere else.
Our cabin being the last one on our street and backing up to the forest, you have Total Seclusion and the forest as your playground !!
Other Activities: Just doing Nothing...Relax and Unwind!!!
Golf: Hiking the forest, mountain biking, swimming and fishing at Green Valley Lake, roasting marshmallows and enjoying ice cream around the fireplace.
We welcome you to create these same wonderful memories with your family, friends and loved ones, too.
