Big Cedar Wilderness Club
450 square feet, Sleeps 4, Kitchenette, 1 King bed, 1 Sofa bed (most comfortable for 2 children), Full Bath; Laundry is in Common area.
The 9,000-square-foot clubhouse houses a game room, owners’ lounge, retail store, snack bar and activities desk. But the crown jewel is the Lazy River, an 875-foot water feature complete with caves, rock grottoes, waterfall and a water slide the kids are sure to love (open Memorial Day through Labor Day). Kids will also enjoy the playground, complete with a rock climbing wall.
Bluegreen Wilderness Club is located adjacent to the historic Big Cedar Lodge and provides guests access to a vast array of entertainment and recreational pursuits. You can go boating, fishing or water skiing on pristine Table Rock Lake. Explore the shores from a canoe or paddle boat available at the full-service marina. Work out in the fitness center then relax in the heated pools, hot tubs and sauna, or treat yourself to a massage in the spa. Enjoy world-class cuisine at your choice of four restaurants including Truman Smokehouse, The Worman House and Devil's Pool Restaurant.
Land lovers can go hiking and horseback riding along the wooded trails. Enjoy breathtaking views from Top of the Rock, a Jack Nicklaus signature golf course. Photography is also a popular pastime here.

About Jana Gunter
Some people love shows, dining, and theme parks, but we really love enjoying the beauty of God's creation wherever we go and we always find enough to see and do without the cost of going to shows and theme parks. We love to go hiking, canoeing, beach combing, picnicking or any other outdoor activity.
Jana Gunter purchased this Condo in 2003
Why Jana Gunter chose Big Cedars
We have been owners of Bluegreen Resorts for 10 years. We do not vacation anywhere else, because we are always confident that our stay will be exceptional at any Bluegreen Resort. Big Cedar Wilderness Club is our favorite. There is so much to do here that we don't even have to leave the resort complex. There is a great hiking path on site, as well as free shuttles to all the activities and amenities. They have a cafe that has great outdoor seating overlooking Table Rock Lake. The Worman House Restaurant is not only beautiful the food is fantastic. For a little less formal dining you can try Devil's Pool, or just save money and use the kitchenette or outdoor grills to make your own supper. There is free canoe and paddle boat rental, not to mention 4 pools and several hot tubs, shuffle board, miniature golf, and many other no charge activities. Their activities change from month to month. Last year my kids loved the campfire/s'more making night. They had free individual packages with everything you needed to make a s'more; some packages even had animal shaped marshmallows. So many things for the kids to do here!

Awesome but rooms need some updates
Our stay was overall wonderful. The property is gorgeous and the amenities are great. However, the rooms need some updating like new carpet, fan in bathroom didn't work and the grout in the ceramic tile floor was loose. But still a great place.
Clean and comfortable
The unit itself was clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we could need for a 5 day stay. Here's a breakdown of pros and cons:
Close to Branson
Lots to do
Top of the Rock experience
We were on the ground floor--LOTS of upstairs noise.
Kitchen aromas from other rooms will make it to your room (bacon, popcorn, etc)
Resort food is average. Breakfast was pretty good though. It's more a case of quality of food vs price of food.
Lazy river was beyond crowded. Think "bumper boats" here.
Overall it was a nice stay. It is not a "true" 5 star resort by any means but it is very nice for a wilderness vacation. I would stay here again but would request a top floor unit.
Tips: pack a box fan to help drown out noise, pack a cooler for the pool, plan to spend a lot of money on site at the resort if you spend any time there. ($8 milkshakes, $40 per person to bowl, etc)
Jana was great to work with, and everything went smoothly checking in and out. The room is very nice and clean with all necessary ammenities. We already knew the resort is awesome and beautiful. Unfortunately the lake views for this room are blocked by another building, but still totally worth it considering the reasonable price.
Clean, great view, nightly delivery of cookies was a unique "sweet" touch!
Had some road repair work that was chaotic but the staff did go out of its way to help out. Big Cedar offers lots of opportunities to have fun and eat well.
One of the most relaxing vacations ever!
We stayed in the studio room Oct 4 - Oct 9, 2015. We arrived early and the registration desk went above and beyond to accommodate us and get us in our room as quickly as possible. Everything that you need is in this room. Perfect for a relaxing vacation with the ability to keep enough in the fridge and cabinets to not have to go out every day; although the weather was so perfect we could not help but go out to enjoy it every day. But it was nice to come back to an exceptional room and enjoy sitting on the balcony and enjoying the cool breezes at night. Our only regret was having to pack up and leave the property as everything was top notch. We ate at both the Truman Coffee House and Devils Pool and both were reasonable and delicious. Entertainment in the Buzzard Bar was great and we had wonderful time there the night before leaving. Everyone in this place go above and beyond to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. I would highly recommend this property and will definitely look forward to staying here again.
So pleased you had such a wonderful time! Come back soon!
Everything was great!
This is the studio suite in the Wilderness Club at Big cedar. It had a kitchenette and enough dishes/mini fridge room to fill our needs. We were traveling with 2 small kids. The sofa bed was more comfortable than most pull outs for my oldest. The pools were open (indoor and outdoor) even though it was early May, which was great! There is no room cleaning done during the stay, but they will bring new towels, or extremely supplies if you request. Overall a great and relaxing stay. The shuttle was also very convenient to get back up the many hills.
