Safe, guarded neighborhood. A very relaxed atmosphere here in Palmas del Mar.
Convenient transportation can be found right next door at the hotel lobby or at the car and golf cart rentals.

Non compliance will result in referral to regulatory and law enforcement agencies. Same goes for lewd conduct in public. We had a wonderful experience in Puerto Rico and at this condo. We stayed for ten days and everything was just as the owner said it was. The facilities met and exceeded our expectations from the pictures and descriptions. It was a very safe, clean, relaxing place to stay where we felt very much at home. We plan on returning to Puerto Rico again and hopefully this condo. There is so much to see and do that you just can't do it all in one trip!
Our experience in this studio was very nice. This studio has EVERYTHING you need for an enjoyable stay. Nice views of the pool and the golf course. The beach and the Beach Bohio (nice place for a drink and a snack) is only a few steps away. The reason I didn't give this property 5 stars is because is too small for a family of 4 and the fact that it only has 1 chair in the balcony.
i thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Palmas. We visited many family and friends all over PR but would come home to relax before bed. My sons would watch a few cartoons before bed or while we got dressed in the morning. The apartment is clean and with everything one needs. I as pleasantly surprised by the washer and dryer, grateful there was a hair dryer and beach towels so we didn't have to carry those on our flight. There was laundry soap and dish soap we could use and enough toilet paper and paper towels for our stay, cleaning supplies if we needed it but since we mainly slept and showered there we didn't need much at all. It was like a hotel room with a number of amenitities you wouldn't find in a hotel. We loved the view from our balcony and the 3 pools: one was great for the baby just 1' deep, there was a second 3-6' deep and the hot tub with jets for adults. It was quiet and comfortable. We all slept well and late if we wanted as there were no noises to wake you.
My daughter and I were in good hands from Nicole and Walter the owners to Luis the caretaker.
Palmas Doradas is a beautiful vacation spot a stones throw from the ocean with warm comfortable days and skin temp breezy nights .
The east coast was a good choice with the steady temperature gradient and winds to help you not notice you are in the tropical Caribbean. Having two queen beds (both comfortable) at this rate with a kitchenette gave us all we needed.
The lush and colorful view from the 4th floor balconies encompasses three pools and two whirlpools, a pond (green iguanas on the banks!), lush grass, and the faint roar of the ocean nearby.
The stairways and verandas are HUGE and if someone wanted to rent the associted two suites you could have a large family get together and eat out on the common verandas and be serenaded by the song of the Cocquis -- unparalleled sweetness in the best of the tropics.
ThePalmas Doradas buildings are part of a much larger complex of resorts and the kind and helpful Puerto Rican security guards and restaurant staff want to enjoy and have you enjoy their beautiful island.
we Had enormous parking options with the gated entrance and miles of paths and beach to walk.Near u on the beach is a cabana bar/grill That is rustic and has a true Caribbean flavor.
We felt entirely safe, ate huge abaca dis from nearby Walmart and vegetable carts in the city.
The rainforest is nearby and offers world class hikes thru the surprisingly cool forest past cascades, waterfalls, bamboo forest and gain ferns.
the Morro fortress in old San Juan is another world class destination with the museum of the Americas next to it with an exhibit of real life bronze castings honoring twenty of the native peoples of the Americas made in situ by late artist Felipe lettersten (see the national geographic video!)
Thank you, Walter and Nicole for sharing your piece of paradise !!
Stayed here for about 2 weeks in Jan/Feb 2015. Great location and the owners were great. Very Clean. Allowed my small dog which made the whole experience much more enjoyable. Would recommend for a nice vacation stay. Pools were nice, close to beach, easy to rinse sand off.
Our stay at the Villa at Palmas Dorado was more than we had expected. The stay started out a bit rough due to some confusion with the access codes, but after that was resolved we had a great time and Luis made a real effort to help us out with any questions we had. He even came in to help us program the remote control since we were having a bit of trouble with that. All in all I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking to remain in budget as the resort has 2 beaches and several pools that can be accessed. There is a walmart about 15minutes away for any last minute purchases that are needed, and also quite a few fast food restaurants for a quick bite (burger king has great breakfast!)
