Absentee Property Manager Old TVs No Freezer

  • 1 of 5

BE WARNED this rental is managed by a company that manages 11 or 12 properties in Tahoe. They are non-responsive and frankly don't want to help. I had called when I arrived for coffee filters (was told coffee maker so assumed at least a filter or two), Greg did not want to handle it, and told me that the front desk should help. I told him that I already asked them and they stated they had nothing to do with the rental and that Vacasa did and that this happens a lot. So I asked Greg if he could help get me a filter. He hung up on me and stated via email (that his phone died as it was in need of a charge). For someone that has 11 or more properties to manage and cannot manage to ensure his phone is charged at the time of check-in is not responsive nor responsible. If I were the owner I would replace Greg! Additionally, the cost is not a bargain when you add the fees the resort includes since they are not renting the unit out - Vacasa is. Save money and a headache by renting directly from / through the resort. That's what we have done in the past and have had a great experience / better than this time.

The perfect stay for our perfect wedding

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for 8 nights over our wedding week and had a great experience. Would highly recommend staying here to anyone. The hotel staff were very responsive and helpful in all respects.

The one thing worth noting (which didn't both us at all) is that the room is right next to the staff room and it can be quite noisy early in the morning. If you are a light sleeper or bothered by loud noises in the morning, please keep this in mind.

Perfect Place in a Perfect Location

  • 5 of 5

Could not have been happier. The resort, the room, the staff, all superb. Other comments had discussed noise from the adjacent service elevator, although we did hear some noise one morning, it was minimal. Besides, you are there to enjoy the resort and the great outdoors, you should be up by the time they start using the elevator ha ha. Will def go back.

Can't beat it. Staying at Squaw Resort is ideal. This unit is conveniently located and gains you access to all the resort amenities. Bring a robe and flip flops if you want to hit the hot tub cause none are provided. Other than that, will def stay here again. Sometimes you can hear the service elevator as the room is located right next to it, but I think it's a non-issue. Took a wonderful walk to Squaw Village and that was great as well.

About Vacasa, CA - Lake Tahoe Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
