The complete kitchen has granite counter tops, a convection microwave, a full size refrigerator, an induction cooktop, a blender, crock pot, coffee maker and all utensils, dishes and cookware needed during your stay. The flooring consists of Hawaiian Koa wood, with travertine tiles in the bath. Bath has a Shower/Tub Combination. From its second level entry, lovely sliding doors open to a small lanai and wonderful ocean breezes. There is a 50 inch plasma TV in the living space and apartment is equipped with WiFi. The bedroom has a queen size bed and also day bed, both with luxurious linens and bedding. The spacious cottage is an affordable getaway for two or a maximum occupancy of 3 persons. The unit is located on the second floor and has a set of interior stairs and an outdoor balcony.
Location, location location. Our rental is located in an upscale, quiet, friendly, and safe neighborhood. We are conveniently located within walking distance of Kailua Beach and two blocks to major shopping. Easy access to all three major highway systems from Kailua. This one bedroom cottage truly offers one of the nicest and most affordable accommodations in the Kailua Town.
KAILUA has one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, with its long stretch of sugary sand perfect for long walks. If you are the really adventurous type, wind surfing, kite board surfing, boogie boarding, body surfing, surfing, and kayaking can all be found here. There are also some land activities to explore like hiking, tennis, golfing, and biking. The Kailua District Park, which is just a two minute walk away, has an Olympic size pool, indoor and outdoor Basketball courts, 12 tennis courts. Kailua has many retails stores to include Whole Foods and Star bucks and is a fun and safe town to walk around, enjoying a variety of ethnic foods, local shops, local grinds (Hawaiian foods), and local souvenir shops. Art gallery shopping is also one of the favorite activities to enjoy in Kailua town. The sun rises just over The Mokes near Lanikai and for those early riser you can walk down to the beach to watch this breath taking view, guaranteed not to be missed during your stay.
Sorry no children under the age of 10 will be permitted to stay in this unit due to safety concerns with the unit being on the second floor with stairs and a balcony.

Car: Not Necessary
As a bedroom community of Honoulu which lies on the other side of the mountain, Kailua offers the small town attraction of shops, eateries, and everything one would need to enjoy its great beaches. The neighborhood setting provides a buffer between the urban sprawl and the beaches which make for much smaller crowds than one would find at beaches in town or on the well-frequented North shore of Oahu.
Most visitors come to Kailua for the watersports, including kayaking and stand up paddling to the offshore islands. Because the birds are ground nesting on this island, no dogs are allowed.
There are four restaurants by Kailua Beach including Buzz Steak House, Kalapawai Market and Deli, Bobs Pizzeria and K&K BBQ. There is also shave ice at Island Snow, snacks drinks and souveniers at the Lanikai General Store and bikinis at San Lorenzo. Most of these businesses are located in the Kailua Beach Center, across the street from Kailua Beach Park at 130 Kailua Rd.
Kailua Beach, on the island of Oahu, is actually descriptive of two distincly different beaches separated by a small and very scenic point. To the west is Kailua beach proper, an approximately two mile stretch of sandy white beach almost always blessed with nearshore waves not enough to be threatening but large enough to attract folks wanting to frolick in the surf.
To the east is the Lanikai beach shoreline, a stretch of about a mile, which due to the outer reef is protected from the wave action that typifies the nearby Kailua Beach. Two islands, about a half-mile offshore provide a postcard view and a great place for kayakers and well-conditioned swimmers to journey to. Here the water is clear and calm and hosting of a number of coral heads allowing for great snorkeling.

Kailua Town offers an eclectic variety of restaurants and shops, and Whole Foods Market...our family's favorite place to shop. Easy access to 3 different Farmer's Markets that take place during the week. Restaurants, coffee houses, unique gift shops are all just a few minutes walk from the property. Come stay with us and enjoy the beauty, serenity, and vareity that Kailua offers. Located just 5 miles from Marine Corps Base-Hawaii. Kailua Dreams provides vacationing military personnel or those on TLA easy access to the base and all of its amenties to include the Marine Corps Exchange, commissary, Klipper golf course, and Semper Fit Fitness Center.
