Why Norah Gormley. chose Lot 64

My sister and i bought this lot because of the name of the location,White Sands and the beautiful view. We grew up in Ireland in a little community looking out over the sea called Thallabawn Gaelic for white sands. The sand here is a little more red but we love it just as much.

The best location on the best vacation we've ever had!

  • 5 of 5

I can't even begin to say how much we thoroughly enjoyed staying at Atlantic Escape. The location is as good as it gets with breathtaking views of the beautiful bay. The cottage is so warm, inviting and cozy and is a perfect place for "escaping" the rat race that is life. Norah ensures that it is clean, well maintained and has all the ammeneties you will need to enjoy your stay. Me and my wife found ourselves out on the adirondack chairs reading in the comfortable ocean air almost every day we were there. we also took advantage of the gas grill and cooked in one dinner! I can't say enough good things about Norah's place only that we fell in love with her cottage and the island itself and we certainly be frequent yearly guests at this oasis on PEI! We are looking forward to returning again next year!

Clean, well-equipped, quiet, great location for enjoying the east end of the Island.

  • 4 of 5

Norah is a lovely hostess who greeted us and ensured any and all questions were answered, as well as adding little touches to the cottage to make it very welcoming. As far as being equipped, open a drawer or cupboard and you will be hard pressed not to find what you need. The cottage was very spacious for the two of us. We thoroughly enjoyed the idyllic setting where we could walk forever at low tide and watch the Grey seals, gannets and blue herons feeding from the chairs on the front lawn. While quietly nestled away from towns, this cottage is close enough to Eastside attractions - Wood Islands ferry, River cruise in Montague, Fisheries Festival in Murray River, Point Prim Chowder House - to name a few of the local activities that we enjoyed.

A place to return to

  • 5 of 5

We walked the beach morning and night. Kids found many things to bring home.

Easy access to the beach at the end of the driveway. Beautiful views and seal watching right off your front porch

Quiet setting. Far away from busy roads but town ( restaurants and grocery) isn't too far away

We visited several other beaches that are close by for day trips. Panmure island is beautiful. Huge sandy dunes, a lighthouse and a restaurant right on the beach. 20 min away

The owner is extremely helpful and kind. Our girls were asking to come back before we had left.

A little piece of heaven!

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 young boys) loved our stay at Atlantic Escape!! The views were spectacular and we all enjoyed watching the wildlife and ships pass. Our boys loved the red sand beach which was just steps away. The cottage was picture perfect with absolutely everything we needed. Thank you Norah for an amazing PEI experience!!

Cute house, gorgeous location!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this property for 3 days in October 2016, and loved it! The house isn't fancy, but it was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed! One day we bought a couple live lobsters to cook, and there was even a large pot in the storage shed for us to use!

The location is perfect, only down the road from the ferry. The views from the house are outstanding! It was a bit too cool to spend much time on the deck, but even sitting in the kitchen or living room was lovely because of the big windows.

the house was very toddler friendly. Norah provided us with a high chair, which was great! She also brought over a couple toys which my son loved!

Norah was a great host! She came by the first day to make sure we had everything we needed, and was easily contacted by phone.

We would definitely stay here again if we came back to PEI!

Home away from home

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I had he pleasure of renting this beautiful cottage with a fantastic view of the ocean. Norah's hospitality ensured our stay was both comfortable and peaceful. We could tell she took pride in her property and she was available if needed but respectful of our privacy. We enjoyed breakfast in. Murray Habour, a short drive away and exploring the countryside.

We love tnis home away from home, we can't wait to return. Wishing Norah and family luck with their new property and hope to stay again soon.
