229 Chemin de l'Adrech is located on the South-east facing hills with wonderful views down to the village and on a clear day, all the way to the sea between St Raphael and St Tropez.
The house (156 m²) is laid out on a single level, built as an all year home it is insulated, has central heating and a design that maintains a comfortable temperature even in the height of Summer, no air conditioning required here.
On arrival, park your car in the open fronted garage to benefit from the shade and enter the spacious hallway. To your left is the kitchen which is fully equipped with electrical oven and hob, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher and coffee machine. A back door leads out to a side terrace.
There is a second refrigerator located in the utility room together with the washing machine.
The lounge diner is very spacious with two six-seat dining tables that can be pushed together to seat 12. Two 3 seat sofas can both convert to additional beds if the party exceeds 6 people. For chilly nights there is a wood burning stove. Entertainment is provide by way of television with domestic French and British Sky free view channels, DVD player, surround sound and radio.
There is free Wi-Fi.
Two pairs of French doors lead out to the garden terrace.
The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with WC, washbasin, bidet and shower.
A second door gives direct access to the garden.
There are two further double bedrooms one with a French station TV. These two bedrooms are served by the family bathroom that has a bidet, wash basin, bath and separate shower stall. A WC with wash basin is adjacent to the bathroom.

A favourite place to take breakfast is on the long terrace that runs along the garden side of the house. This is equipped with a dining table with chairs as well as bench seating with backrests.
The garden has broad terraces with Olive, Oak and Cade trees, giving plenty of natural shade.
The 10mx4m swimming pool is set in a paved terrace with a storage house for the sun loungers etc.
A solar freshwater shower is installed on the terrace.
3 steps above the pool terrace is a raised dining terrace, Mounted on stilts to ensure a midday breeze, a solid stone table can seat 10 to 12 with a an adjustable parasol offering sun protection. The dining terrace is equipped with a refrigerator, sink with cold water supply and power point for the coffee maker. There is a full inventory of non breakable melamine crockery for use out doors.
The pool and terrace are completely secluded, so delightfully private.
Just 3.5 km from the centre of the village yet wonderfully tranquil this is a very relaxing spot.
St Cézaire sur Siagne is a 12th century village that has all that you need a choice of restaurants and bars, 3 bakeries, 2 butchers, vegetable shop, tobacconist/newsagent and a modern supermarket. On Saturday mornings the square is taken over by a regional market.
St Cézaire is a pretty picturesque Provencal village perched on the edge of the river Siagne gorges, inland from Grasse (20 km), and surrounded by olive groves.
St Cassien lake is nearby (15 km) and the Mediterranean sea (Cannes) is only 30 km away.
Towards the Alps, the next nearest village, is St Vallier de Thiey on the Route Napoleon, which is one of Europe's most lauded driving roads.

St Cassien lake. 15 km. Beautiful lake with clean water and small beaches, and lovely place for windsurfing and other watersports. Ideal to cool off on a hot day!
Grasse. 20 km. Fascinating historic town and world's perfume capital. Explore the delightful narrow streets or go on one of the factory tours offered by some of the most famous perfume houses.
Fayence. 22 km. Much visited hill top fortified village, between sea and mountains and surrounded by picturesque Provencal countryside. Also renowned for its gliding centre, often considered the best in Europe.
Cannes. 30 km. Beachside resort with its large promenade, chic boutiques, restaurants, bars, shops and festivals including the famous Cannes film festival in May each year. A walk along the “Croisette”, harbour and sandy beaches is a must.

Les Grottes de St Cézaire, St Cézaire sur Siagne. Discovered in 1890 by local farmer whilst working his land. Full of fantastic formations including draperies, stalactites and stalagmites. Spectacular underground landscapes.
Golf du Claux Amic, Grasse. 21 km. Golf course. 18 holes Par 72 - 5916m. With spectacular views of both the Mediterranean sea and the mountains, this course demands concentration and precise shots. The old oak trees provide some shade and ensure relief from the hot summer sun.
Marineland, Antibes. 40 km. Aquarium. The greatest marine show in Europe with dolphins, orcas, killer whales and seals. Also aquariums and a 30m-long tunnel surrounded by sharks!
Antibes-Juan les Pins. 41 km. Two towns in one! Antibes with its vibrant historic centre with narrow winding streets, a good choice of restaurants, cafés, theatres, piano bars, chic hotels, private clubs and Picasso museum, and Juan les Pins renowned for its gorgeous beaches, exciting nightlife with fashionable night clubs, casino and even night shopping. Also Cap d'Antibes, a small piece of paradise, home to a number of millionaires.
St Paul de Vence. 42 km. One of the most beautiful and most visited villages in France which has attracted many artists due to its great natural beauty. Also home to Fondation Maeght, France's most important modern art museum with a remarkable collection of paintings, sculptures, drawings and other graphic works from the 20th century.
Nice. 55 km. Fashionable and unmissable seaside resort with its wonderful “Promenade des Anglais”, a long boulevard along the seaside dotted with palm trees, its old town with pretty colourful architecture and narrow streets.
You could also head north towards the mountains, to enjoy tree top adventures and mountain biking in La Mouliere or to the Verdon Gorges where rafting, canoeing, kayaking, tubing or via ferrata and many other activities are available.

The village of Saint Cézaire sur Siagne has a very rich history starting from the XIIth century. The river Siagne also has a great historical importance to the village.
It is a quiet village out of the beaten track. It has a population of 3500 that lives there all year round.

Marie-Claude's parents bought a holiday home on top of the hill above St Cézaire in 1962 and then retired here in 1992. So the love of the area is a long story...
