Me and my wife are French, we are happy to offer our lovely villa in Moorea.
Chantal purchased this Villa in 2005
Why Chantal chose Moorea-Maiao
We love wood house, and we discover Moorea 10 years and found this nice spot on the beach and decide to order from Bali this teak house design by famous architect in France.
What makes this Villa unique
We choose this land because of the water color and deep lagoon in front of our house, very good diving and snorkeling spot. Our Beach is protected by the reef. The only access to the beach is from the residence.

We so enjoyed this home and it’s Indonesian influences. The home is very comfortable and the beach was great and very good for swimming and snorkeling. The Kayak and paddle board were great to paddle out to the reef and snorkel.
Loved the way the whole front of the house opens to keep it cool. Bedrooms have AC and fans.
Only thing is you need transportation. The PM was very responsive and set us up with mopeds and cabs when needed. Definitely rent mopeds and explore the island for local flavor. Food and alcohol are expensive so stock up at the duty free before leaving the states.
Transportation to and from the ferry and airport was easy and again arranged by the manager. I would highly recommend this property and we will be back.
Thank you Chantal for the use of your awesome home.

Wonderful Bali house and interior decoration. Incredible view. Great kitchen. Very comfortable and relaxing. Loved it!!!
I can't convey what a perfect house and setting this was for a tropical vacation - and I live in Hawai'i!!! It was a perfect location for snorkeling, kayaking and paddle boarding (all provided) and enjoying the beautiful vistas. Our stingray and shark tour boat captain actually dropped us off right at the house after our tour! Blondine was wonderful checking us in and out and helping us to make arrangements for dinner and transportation. The neighborhood was safe and comfortable and a small market and lunch shop were within walking distance. We can't wait to go back and recommend the Blue Lagoon to everyone!
We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house very much. The location right on the water is perfect and the house is very nice.
Fabulous Home on Moorea!!!!
The house (in a gated community) was absolutely wonderful and the location on the island was an added plus! The home was imported from Bali about 13 years ago and decorated with balinese as well as South Pacific items which added a nice touch. The views from the house are beautiful and the close water access makes it perfect for kayaking (2 are provided at the house), swimming, snorkeling etc. The wifi is good, the kitchen is well stocked, a charcoal BBQ is available, the appliances are decent, and a safe is provided for your valuables. There is also a garage if you rent a car or scooter (s) during your stay. We visiting during the dry season which had the added plus of having VERY few mosquitos. And we only had one super windy day - great for windsurfing/kite boarding if that is your area of interest.
If you are staying at the house, make sure to walk down the main road to the east in order to hit the local grocery store to pick up fresh bread and pastries. You must get there early as the french bread goes fast! In addition, it is great to watch all of the children going off to school early in the morning. If you walk to the west of the house down the main road, there is a roadside fruit stand where you can pick up fresh bananas, coconuts etc. Neither are to be missed. If you plan on preparing your meals, make sure to hit the Champion grocery store if you are coming off the ferry or you can hit the Super U grocery store in Pao Pao. There are many smaller magasins around the island, but these two stores have more selections to help stock up your kitchen.
Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by Eric, the house manager. He will give you a tour and make sure you are well acquainted with the home. He lives in the same gated community and is easily contacted if you need anything during your stay. We had a water pipe break in the kitchen during our vacation and he came right down to the house to help us turn off the water to the affected sink. He also made sure a plumber was there the very next day to fix the water line. Nothing but great things to say about Eric! He is the best!
As far as things to do on the island - I definitely would go out to Coco Beach and spend the afternoon eating, swimming and enjoying the view. Not to be missed. We also highly enjoyed our lunch at Snack Mahana. A lagoon tour (get to see rays and sharks) and/or a land tour is fun as well. Don't hesitate to ask Eric for suggestions!
Great Trip! Great House! Great People!
