In 1860, a way station, hotel, and freight depot were built near the site of the present hotel to serve freighters traveling over Tincup Pass, bound for the mines of Ashcroft and Aspen; and over the Altman Pass toward Gunnison County.
Today Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort is embarking on a new chapter in its long history. In 2007, the resort was purchased by its current owners, who undertook a massive renovation and expansion of this historic property. All rooms were beautifully renovated and stunning log cabins were built by the creek. A stunning new pavilion accommodates corporate and group functions. The same “old West” Colorado “can do” attitude still prevails in our attentive staff and management, who await the opportunity to share with you the natural beauty and unmatched recreational opportunities afforded at Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort.
