Owner/Manager purchased this cottage in 2004
It is nice and close to everything but still in a rural district and Leo also owns the property next door .
There is so much to do in the Comox Valley from Hiking , fishing , golfing ,skiing, also most anything your heart desires....Let us help you plan your stay .
Leo bought the house before we met , but what I love is I am getting to remodel it all a little at a time .
A small but sufficient little cottage. I couldn't have asked for any more except...perhaps the knobs on your kitchen cabinet next to the stove could be moved from floor level to regular height. There were wine glasses in there and those of us with hip issues felt the pain of the reach!! :) I would recommend this property to any couple or single person who is visiting the Comox area as it is very clean, very comfortable, close to all amenities.
Host was quick to respond to any query or concern.
The accommodation was adequate but certainly compact. The noticeable amenities missing was a place to hang clothing... no closet or armoire or hooks with hangers .
The kitchen area was equipped with all the needed appliances and a goody basket of oatmeal flakes and apples was most welcome.
The owners were very helpful and courteous. Offered us suggestions on sight seeing when requested. Really enjoyed the breakfasts.
Cute little cabin! It offered comfort and was well stocked with everything one might need away from home! We enjoyed playing tic -tac-toe and battleship. We were there for one short visit but were very happy with the well stocked kitchen and location! Thanks to Valerie for being so accommodating to our needs!
A very cozy little cottage where we felt very welcomed. We only stayed for 1 night before leaving Vancouver Island. I recommend staying here and flying out from Comox rather than a trip down to Victoria or Vancouver, so you can take advantage of the relaxed nature of the island.
I found the bed a bit too firm for me, but was able to sleep on the sofa bed. The scented detergent on the blankets was a bit intense for me because I have sensitivities, but overall, for a short stay the cottage was very convenient. We went to the Marina and got fresh shrimp from the boat, and were able to come and prepare a lovely dinner with a full sized stove and fridge and a great sautee pan.
The little touches are well thought out. Picnic bag, umbrellas and desk table, books and a game of Battleship!
We felt very private and enjoyed our short stay overall. Some Breakfast supplies such as oatmeal and fruit cups were included!
For the price compared to a basic hotel in the area, we were pleased with our choice, and can recommend the value, cleanliness and convenience. There is no tub, just a shower, so i think short term stays are suitable.
My wife and I have nothing but praise for the comfort, the decoration and for everything supplied. We will tell our friends. Very friendly hosts, a quiet neighborhood and well located for sightseeing.
I am sure I have missed something if there is something you need to find out please just ask .
