I am a 38-year resident of San Diego (grew up on the East Coast) and have owned this condo for over 20 years. I am also a CA licensed real estate broker. I moved to Carlsbad in 2011 after living in this condo for 18 years. It was remodeled in 2010.

What makes this condo unique

Location, Location, Location! Just a 10-minute walk to beautiful Del Mar beach, a premier walking and surfing beach. Only a 10-minute drive to Torrey Pines State Park with walking/hiking trails and the most outstanding views in San Diego County. The park is just north of Torrey Pines Golf Course where the Farmers Insurance Open is held every January. Solana Beach is home to the North Coast's premier fitness facilities, restaurants and bike trails. This is a beautiful, clean little condo in the heart of north coast San Diego County.

Very Nice and Comfortable

I had a great experience. The condo was perfect for me. The location was close to Del Mar Fair Grounds and Race Track and to the Del Mar Beach. The community was clean and quiet. Included were all the necessities you would need for a trip away from home. The host was very helpful and responsive to my questions. I would stay there again.

This is a gem!

The condo is well appointed, clean, lots of light and very pleasant to be in.

We would highly recommend it to anyone interested in staying in the area.

Kitchen:

Everything you need and everything is full sized: fridge, dishwasher, stove.

Great Oster blender for smoothie lovers.

Excellent four slice toaster.

Bedroom:

Comfortable queen size bed.

Ceiling fan (Yes!)

Lots of pillows and blankets.

Plenty of closet & drawer space.

Living Area:

Internet: Runs consistently at 15.5/1.5 with a .25 ping. Compared with the net connection we've had at other rentals, this is the best so far. Very happy about that.

All the TV and cable you will need.

Floor fan if you want to move some air; however, the condo stays shaded throughout the day keeping indoor temperatures very agreeable.

Garage:

Wonderful perk being so close to the ocean for keeping the car clean.

Location:

Very quiet area.

Easy access to three I5 exits. Via DE LA Valle can be busy at peak times because of race/fairgrounds activities, but is avoidable if you use Del Mar Heights from the south and Lomas Santa February from the north.

The Fun Stuff: (We are former San Diego residents who stayed for 30 days during June/July 2016. We come to this area to walk the beaches and bicycle. We average many miles a day so, at least to us, just about everything is walkable)

From the door it's .6 miles to the PCH.

Easy walk to Del Mar beach, Powerhouse Park area; probably the most pleasant beach area in the S.D. Area.

Easy walk to Cedros Street and Solano Beach restaurants.

Also, don't miss the out-of-the-way older restaurants on Stevens Street which are also walkable.

San Elijo Lagoon County Park is well worth the time to discover this beautiful natural preserve.

Another GREAT stay!!!

As we opened the door, we felt we entered our own private paradise....once again!!!! Kathy, the owner has taken the time to give attention to creating a serene and peaceful atmosphere for her guests. The decorating of this condo is so warm and inviting just as you would expect it to be with an owner like Kathy. The location allows us to travel to LA and to Mexico and all the small towns in between. Convenient shopping for clothes., groceries, home decor, and restaurants, are minutes away. We enjoy the pool, hot tub, and sauna on site. Del Mar beach offers whale watching ,dolphins, and of course collecting shells. All I can say, "just another day in paradise"!! Thanks Kathy! We will see you in December.

Exactly as advertised with attentive support

I had an extended stay here (3 months) and any of the minor issues I had were taken care of immediately. Easy access to the 5 and shops, this was a very convenient location. The condo itself had a nice, open layout with a patio that was great for morning coffee. Would definitely return.

What a great place to enjoy San Diego!

We planned to come back to this condo and this time we had the opportunity to stay 3 weeks. It even feels more like home now. We just love this place and it's just perfect for a couple to spend a wonderful time. You could perfectly imagine living here, it has everything one could possibly need. Kathy, the owner, arranged the place with great taste and we are already looking forward to our next stay.

We had the opportunity to stay during the month of May. Everything is just as advertised. The condo is clean, quiet and very convenient to shopping, restaurants and activities. Everything you may need while away from home is provided. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of dishes, pots, pans and appliances. The location is very quiet and there is garage parking. We would recommend this condo to anyone who wants to enjoy the beach, San Diego area and outlining areas. The owner is very responsive and accommodating. Thanks for a great stay.
