The second bedroom has a full size bed, a night stand and dresser. The third bedroom has a twin bed and night stand.

The living room is very spacious and is open to the kitchen and dining room. This is best space in the cabin. You can spend hours with family and friends. Enjoy playing games, reminiscing and telling stories around the custom-built rock wood-burning fireplace. The couch also folds out into a queen size bed with a comfy memory foam mattress for additional sleeping space.

The kitchen and dining room are both adjacent to the living room. The pine dining table can sit six people comfortably for family dinners. Our summer months in Colorado are absolutely beautiful, so feel free to grill on the propane BBQ grill on the back patio off the kitchen. Enjoy your meals outdoors on the picnic table. You will have the local squirrels, birds and chipmunks to entertain you while you eat!

This adorable cabin has all the modern day technologies including a 32-inch flat screen TV with cable, DVD/VCR player, high speed internet with WiFi, and land line phone.

Relax outside on the spacious deck with breath taking views and soak in the warm Colorado sunshine! Enjoy a stroll through the streets of Green Mountain Falls or visit the historic gazebo set on a tiny island in a pond at the center of town. The lake is seasonally stocked with trout, if you care to try your luck with the local fishermen. There are several hiking trails that begin in town that range from mild to adventurous where visitors can see the pristine Colorado waterfalls the town is named for!

Cozy cabin in the mountains

  • 5 of 5

Convenient area to many tourist places. We loved the cog railway to the top of Pikes Peak. Our family enjoyed the fireplace, hiking and our family time together. The local restaurants were very good but breakfast at "home" is always nice.

Sweet!

  • 4 of 5

We had a very nice time at naughty pine. But was disappointed that the damper on the fireplace didn't work, by the looks of it, it didn't work for the previous tenant either. However we didn't let that stop us from having a good time. I enjoyed reading the history of the cabin that were framed on the walls . I also enjoyed the nice fluffy towels. You can tell that you folks really care about your tenants, and we really appreciated that. You might clean up that BBQ grill too, grates are all rusted. Over all, we enjoyed our stay, Thank You Lauren!!!!

Cute cozy cabin

  • 4 of 5

What a cute cozy little cabin! Feels truly like a cabin in the woods - pine paneled walls and ceilings, beautiful rock fireplace. Comfortable beds, great dining space. The only downside is that for a family of 5 it was almost impossible to cook a meal in the teeny tiny kitchen on the teeny tiny stove. Thought the maintenance/cleaning fee was too high for the size of the cabin and the going rate in mountain towns.

Owner's Response: We always appreciate feedback from our guests. This is a great cabin with lots of history located in GMF. The kitchen with metal cabinets is part of what makes this cabin so unique. The kitchen has an apartment size 4 burner electric range w/oven that works very well & fits nicely in the space. The pictures on the website showcase the kitchen accurately. The cleaning fee is set for the amount of people the cabin sleeps. It is a 3 bedroom, 1 bath cabin with 928 sq feet which is larger than a lot of the cabins in GMF. Thanks for staying with Red Door Vacation Rentals

Cozy and close to Pikes Peak, perfect for couples or small families

  • 5 of 5

All in all a nice little cabin. We had 7 in our family (2 Adults/5 kids) and the single slightly tinged bathroom was challenging at times especially when it took a several plunges to clear and the pull out couch was required to fit us all. Wifi was intermittent with none at first but cleared up before we had to make a call and was quick once it worked. Having Netflix was an unexpected bonus. Kitchen was very small but not a surprise with the pics making that clear. Was surprised that there was no a/c (albeit normal in Colorado apparently), so late evenings were a little uncomfortable in summer even with the windows all open; but mornings were cool and kept the cabin cool most of the day. The neighbors are very close in a stepped fashion but relatively private with the vegetation. The positives were numerous and we really enjoyed our stay. Beds were all comfortable, decor was perfect, and the place was clean. The history on the walls about the cabin was great. Our 6 yr old loved the toys. The location was a big factor for us and being so close to Pike's Peak was perfect. Finding the place and getting into the unit was easy. Wildlife is close and you can get great pics. We felt safe and carefree while there. Lauren very quick to respond and very patient. Using her site saved us the normal $500 deposit usually charged with VRBO and I actually liked the added security of the cheap insurance. It does sleep 7 or maybe 8 but given the coziness of the cabin, it is much better suited for 5 or less. It was a little pricey but we were happy.
