Come stay in our Naughty Pine log cabin in the quaint town of Green Mountain Falls, Colorado. It's conveniently located 12 miles west of Colorado Springs. The location is perfect for those wanting to explore the vast Pikes Peak region.

Enjoy all the comforts of home in our cozy log cabin. The cabin has three bedrooms and one bathroom. The first bedroom has a queen size bed, two night stands, a dresser and a walk in closet. The second bedroom has a full size bed, a night stand and dresser. The third bedroom has a twin bed and night stand.

The living room is very spacious and is open to the kitchen and dining room. This is best space in the cabin. You can spend hours with family and friends. Enjoy playing games, reminiscing and telling stories around the custom-built rock wood-burning fireplace. The couch also folds out into a queen size bed with a comfy memory foam mattress for additional sleeping space.

The kitchen and dining room are both adjacent to the living room. The pine dining table can sit six people comfortably for family dinners. The kitchen is small but very efficient, and is complete with a four-burner stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, sink and all the essentials you need for preparing meals. Just bring food, friends and family!

Our summer months in Colorado are absolutely beautiful, so feel free to grill on the propane BBQ grill on the back patio off the kitchen. Enjoy your meals outdoors on the picnic table. You will have the local squirrels, birds and chipmunks to entertain you while you eat!

This adorable cabin has all the modern day technologies including a 32-inch flat screen TV with cable, DVD/VCR player, high speed internet with WiFi, and land line phone.

Relax outside on the spacious deck with breath taking views and soak in the warm Colorado sunshine! Enjoy a stroll through the streets of Green Mountain Falls or visit the historic gazebo set on a tiny island in a pond at the center of town. The lake is seasonally stocked with trout, if you care to try your luck with the local fishermen. There are several hiking trails that begin in town that range from mild to adventurous where visitors can see the pristine Colorado waterfalls the town is named for!

Cozy cabin in the mountains

  • 5 of 5

Convenient area to many tourist places. We loved the cog railway to the top of Pikes Peak. Our family enjoyed the fireplace, hiking and our family time together. The local restaurants were very good but breakfast at "home" is always nice.

Cozy and close to Pikes Peak, perfect for couples or small families

  • 5 of 5

All in all a nice little cabin. We had 7 in our family (2 Adults/5 kids) and the single slightly tinged bathroom was challenging at times especially when it took a several plunges to clear and the pull out couch was required to fit us all. Wifi was intermittent with none at first but cleared up before we had to make a call and was quick once it worked. Having Netflix was an unexpected bonus. Kitchen was very small but not a surprise with the pics making that clear. Was surprised that there was no a/c (albeit normal in Colorado apparently), so late evenings were a little uncomfortable in summer even with the windows all open; but mornings were cool and kept the cabin cool most of the day. The neighbors are very close in a stepped fashion but relatively private with the vegetation. The positives were numerous and we really enjoyed our stay. Beds were all comfortable, decor was perfect, and the place was clean. The history on the walls about the cabin was great. Our 6 yr old loved the toys. The location was a big factor for us and being so close to Pike's Peak was perfect. Finding the place and getting into the unit was easy. Wildlife is close and you can get great pics. We felt safe and carefree while there. Lauren very quick to respond and very patient. Using her site saved us the normal $500 deposit usually charged with VRBO and I actually liked the added security of the cheap insurance. It does sleep 7 or maybe 8 but given the coziness of the cabin, it is much better suited for 5 or less. It was a little pricey but we were happy.

Relaxing as always

  • 5 of 5

This is the second year we've stayed here. We love this little cabin. It is just what we need to escape the craziness and heat of where we call home for now.

Kim and Lauren make the transaction so easy. The cabin is always clean and well maintained.

We love the trails in GMF. We've been coming to this town for years and have made friends. Such friendly people everywhere here. Can't wait to come back next time.

Cozy Cabin

  • 5 of 5

My two sisters and me, along with my husband, really enjoyed this cabin and its surroundings.......well maintained and very comfortable. My only suggestion is this: unless we missed it (entirely possible for 4 senior citizens), we did not know that wood was provided for the fireplace, so we purchased wood. Perhaps that should be noted somewhere. Also, again a senior citizen thing, please call attention to the history of the cabin by pointing out that information on the dining area wall. My visiting son called our attention to it. It made our stay even more enjoyable, knowing the history.

Last, a small criticism: squeaky doors. With no WD-40 available, my husband used the Pam provided in the kitchen to quiet the doors, particularly the bathroom door.
