About Diane Pfeil
My family purchased Adventure Lodge as a investment property for us to enjoy as a family and hopefully for your family too. We moved from NY to the Charlotte area 10 years ago and have missed the beautiful mountain landscape of the Hudson Valley. Purchasing this cabin was the perfect way to give us a little taste of our hometown without traveling the 11hrs back. We are looking forward to years of wonderful memories in Adventure Lodge!
Diane Pfeil purchased this Cabin in 2013
Why Diane Pfeil chose Brushy Fork
This property is one of a kind. It sits high in the mountain but is easily accessible (weather permitting). It has a wall of windows so the gorgeous Carolina Blue sky can shine thru which is a wonderful way to start your day! It is in a great location and is perfect for families, girlfriend getaways, friends & family reunions. Perfect for all seasons- Cool in the summer, colorful in the Fall and a winter wonderland from Dec to March!

Perfect house, perfect weekend! Thank you!
Beautiful and Peaceful
My family had a great stay at this cabin, had all essentials and located close to all ski resorts.
The hill to drive up was a little rough if you don’t have 4 wheel drive but overal great time and great memories. Owner are very easy to get in touch with.
The house was beautiful and so comfortable for 2 families to share. It was nice having the upstairs loft bedroom and downstairs loft bedroom with the living quarters in the middle. The stay was made even better when we got some beautiful snow!
Thank you for your nice review! I am so happy you had a nice time.. The snow from the wall of windows is so beautiful so glad you were able to enjoy it! Hope to see you and your family again! Diane
We really enjoyed our stay. Cabin offered easy access to Boone, Blowing Rock, Elk Knob State Park, Linville Falls, etc. Everything worked perfectly including kitchen and hot tub. We enjoyed the pool table and deck also.
Excellent place to stay!
Great place to stay. Cabin is great!
Perfect weekend away!
This was the perfect location and home for a girl's weekend away! We are a group of friends who were fish out of water our freshman year at ASU in 1995 and have stayed in touch for many years. Last year we started an annual fall (non football game) weekend in Boone and look forward to it each year! We stayed further out of town last year and decided we LOVE the closer location to Boone of this home, yet feeling like you're in the middle of no where! The view from inside and the deck were incredible. We had a blast playing Foosball and pool and loved the hot tub at the end of the day on a cool crisp night! We definitely want to stay here again!!
Minutes from Appalachian State University! Plenty of things to do: Hiking on Grandfather Mountain, taking a ride on Tweetsie Railroad, skiing & snowboarding at 3 close ski areas, tubing or zipline at Hawksnest and so much more. Excellent location with plenty of shopping, restaurants and recreation for all!
