About the property

For families or small group

You can enjoy this accommodation in a central roman district (Testaccio-Ostiense). While, outside, the streets are alive, the apartment is quiet and cozy inside.

Well equipped (air conditioned, washing machines, wi-fi internet and a courtesy phone for emergency call). Linen and towels provided (three for each guest).

Expressly realized for holidays rental (you won't find my socks in the drawers!). It's placed on the sixth floor of eight.

The building is equipped with two independent elevators.

Only few steps to 'Piramide' Metro station and to many bus (i.e. : bus 23 - Vatican and Tiber Island - bus 716 - Piazza Venezia/the Capitol).

- An outstanding wealth of restaurants, pastry and ice cream shops, pizzerie, delicatessen.

- The district is well known, especially among young people, for its pubs, wine bar, theaters, shows.

Great place!

  • 5 of 5

Four of us (2 couples) shared this apartment and it was perfect! Enough space, and has a washer and drying rack. It is close to a produce market which was perfect for buying eggs and fruit and vegetables for breakfast. The apartment has basics like olive oil, salt, pepper, balsamic vinegar and some others. It is close to Ostiense train station and Piramide metro, which will get you to all he major sites, or a bus, which will also take you to Vatican City, etc. We loved staying here! Giuseppe was a great host and checked in to see how our stay was. If we come back to Rome, we would stay here again!

Magnifico!

  • 5 of 5

Everything you read about the reviews of Giuseppe's apartment is true - this is a fabulous and very clean apartment. We were a family of 5 and there was plenty of room. The apartment block is quiet and easy to find and close to transport but also walking distance into Rome itself. The apartment has everything you could need and Giuseppe is more than helpful - don't think about it - book it!

This was perfect for our maily!

  • 5 of 5

This apartment met all of our needs for our stay in Rome! It was close to transportation, a local grocery store, and an amazing gelateria. It slept the four of us (4 adults) very comfortably. We used the kitchen and dining area for all of our dinner meals, and the kitchen was fairly well stocked with everything we needed. We used the washing machine to wash clothing and there was a drying rack available as well. Giuseppe was very friendly and patient with us when we were late arriving. He spoke English well. He showed us how to operate everything and how to contact him should we need anything else. The apartment complex is large but was very quiet. The rate was more than reasonable, making this a wonderful place for us to stay!

Perfect for savvy travelers staying several days

  • 5 of 5

The apartment definitely lived up to expectations and Giuseppe was a fine host. Located between trendyTestaccio and up and coming Ostiense neighborhoods, with a dozen first rate eateries (Eataly, cozy trattorias, upscale fish places, etc.). Street is busy but apartment is on quiet court, good food shopping and great transportation/sites nearby. I could easily live here for extended time.

Great location, close to Metro

  • 5 of 5

This roomy apartment was perfect for our family (two adult couples) with a quiet location, two bedrooms with comfortable beds, livingroom that can be closed off for a third bedroom with sofabed, kitchen, bathroom, small balcony, and washing machine (with drying rack). Nearby you can find a Carrefour (groceries) and a wonderful gelateria (Gelateria la Romana at Via Ostiense 48-48a-48b). The kitchen was well-equipped for preparing meals with extras like olive oil, sugar, salt, etc. The owner, Giuseppe, was very helpful and even waited for us when we were two hours late arriving, to help us with luggage and orient us to the apartment. He speaks Italian and English very well and even left treats for us as well as basics like olive oil, sugar, salt, etc. He also leaves an emergency cell phone in the apartment for reaching him if necessary. The Wi-Fi internet connection was very reliable and is included in the price, which is very reasonable for an apartment of this size and location. You may wish to bring extra toilet paper, dishwashing detergent, and paper towels if you are staying more than two days, but you can buy them at the market. There is no parking available here but it is possible to park on the street and there is a parking garage nearby if you have a rental car. It is much easier to use public transportation in Rome!
