Large, Beautifully Updated 4 Bedroom Pool Home - Walk Or Bike To Tigertail Beach

Bedrooms 4
Space 2,034 sq ft
Property type house
Minimum Stay 1 - 7 nights

About the property

4 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, Sleeps 10

It’s just a short walk from the sparkling blue water of the heated pool to the turquoise water of Tigertail Beach. This 2,000 square foot house sleeps eight, with two king beds, two queens, two bathrooms and a two-car garage. Actually, it sleeps ten if you count the dog and cat. That’s right, this is one of the few rentals that welcomes your furry friends.

Start with the lanai, because that’s where you’ll start your day, in your own private oasis, surrounded by palm trees and lush tropical plants. The only sound that disturbs the quiet is the splashing and laughter of the kids in the pool and the sizzling of burgers on the gas grill.

No need to look at the calendar to see if it’s barbeque season. It’s always barbeque season in Marco Island, especially when the sun’s shining down on a pool filled with hungry swimmers.

Wait, is this a lanai or a poolside restaurant? Tables and chairs are everywhere, on the pool deck beneath the shade of an umbrella, and up on the shaded balcony, cooled by an overhead fan.

After a day in the pool, there’s no more relaxing setting than the comfortably furnished, hardwood-floored interior. French doors open up to the dining area, with a glass breakfast table and stools along the kitchen counter. The spacious, wide-open kitchen features white cabinets, granite countertops and all the modern appliances and cookware you need to serve a family dinner or entertain guests on the lanai.

The bedrooms come with plenty of drawer and closet space and linens. The ensuite bathroom of the master suite features an arched French window beside a tiled walk-in shower with rain showerhead and whirlpool bath.

The house is filled with comfort-enhancing amenities, including air conditioning, ceiling fans and a washer and dryer. For your entertainment, you’ve got internet, cable, a big screen TV and flat screen TVs in the bedrooms. You’ve also got bikes and everything you need for the beach, including beach chairs, an umbrella, a cooler and toys for the kids.

People drive from all over to visit Tigertail Beach, but you’re just a short walk away. You’re also just a short walk from some of the island’s favorite restaurants, like Joey’s Pizza, NeNe’s, Fin Bistro, Doreen’s and many more.

So if you’re ready for the vacation of a lifetime, this house is ready for you.

The total package!

  • 5 of 5

The home was so spacious. Plenty of room for our family of 7 and one toddler. The pool was beautiful and nice and warm even for a cool evening. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need to make a family meal. We enjoyed sitting around the table spending quality time together (Plenty of seating). Don't hesitate to fly on down because there are beach chairs, toys for the kids, a beach umbrella, coolers, strollers....literally everything you can think of! Tigertail beach was beautiful but QUITE A HIKE. We found a public beach access and enjoyed every moment. The community is quiet and tucked away, yet close to great restaurants...our favorites were Pinchers and CJs on the bay. The home was extremely clean and all the amenities were provided. Looking forward to visiting in the future!

Perfect for our needs

  • 5 of 5

The house was exactly what we were looking for: lovely bedrooms and bathrooms, great kitchen, wonderful family spaces, and a perfect pool for the kids and adults alike. The neighborhood was great as well.

One of the best things was the organization of everything provided. From the bicycles, toys, and beach chairs at the house to the ease of check in and check out, everything was smooth and easy. We enjoyed working with this company, their helpful app, and their easily reachable and knowledgable staff. It was a wonderful vacation.

Nice house and terrific location on Marco Island

  • 4 of 5

We had a great time during our stay on Marco Island. Despite the weather not cooperating in terms of temperature, we did have sun most days. We explored both Tiger Tail Beach and South Beach. Our preference was the latter. It's a bit of a hike from the parking lot to Tiger Tail. But well worth a visit.

The house was equipped with beach chairs and umbrellas, which came in handy. We also stayed by the house pool a lot. The pool size is excellent and the water temperature was great most days. Having lounge chairs would have been a feature we would have appreciated. The two level deck was nice but we found the seats on the upper deck quite hard despite the cushions, which were worn. The management company is very responsive and helpful.

The house is very close to everything ... grocery stores, beaches, mini golf, shopping ... you name it. The bikes at the house were used often by the kids. They found an owl burrow in the neighbourhood which was a highlight.

This house is currently for sale so make sure to talk to the management company to ensure there are no surprise showings. We had a realtor and his clients unexpectedly arrive one morning.

The house fit all 7 of us comfortably. The kitchen was large enough, the livingroom is a great size and the bedrooms were all large and the beds comfortable. A few added items to the house would be helpful, such as a large cutting board and plunger.

All in all a great place to stay!

Owner's Response: Hi Valeri- thanks for taking the time to write a review and so glad to hear you enjoyed your stay!! Also glad to hear Andrew and our management team took good care of you. As far as the loungers and the cushions on the top level of the deck, I will be at the property soon and will certainly address the cushions ASAP and look into adding some loungers. Also for return stays, keep in mind the pool is heated and if you ever have an issue with the temperature, feel free to reach out to the management company to address. We'll do anything we can to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. As far as the realtor showing up, I am SO sorry this happened. They are not to show up unannounced and are never supposed to show the property during a guests stay without written consent. It was taken up with the realtor and I can promise you will never happen again. My apologies for this inconvenience. Our guests and booked reservations are our first priority and nothing should interrupt your stay ever! As far as the plunger and cutting board, I will make sure those items are addressed ASAP as those items should be at the house already (sometimes things dissapear unfortunately.) Thanks again for staying with us and we are so happy you enjoyed your stay. Please reach out to me or our management company if there is anything further we can do for you and we do hope to have you back in the near future. Safe travels home and hope to have you back in Marco soon!

Excellent vacation home for my family

  • 5 of 5

I have rented the home two years in a row, much more than you can expect, everything a family vacation needs. Clean and well maintained, the owner and property management are very polite and helpful with all are needs. Perfect POOL, cook at the home on the grill or dine out at many restaurants. The home layout is perfect for a family. Beaches are close. Hoping for three years in a row.

Lovely quiet Marco location half mile from Tigertail beach.

  • 3 of 5

The location is excellent. This is a quiet neighborhood and you can walk to the beach without having to cross busy Collier Blvd. We rented a beach stroller from a local toy rental company and walked to Tigertail Beach with its lovely playground and snack bar. We also took a long walk to the resident's beach where the white sand is groomed by the big hotels, and enjoyed lunch at Quinn's in the Marriott Hotel. The property was clean and spacious and the pool and lenae were immaculate. The downsides: only enough hot water for 1 1/2 showers, steep and unusual rise to the stairs to the home which contributed to a minor fall. The home had been oddly staged for sale: cheap, kitschy items w/prominently displayed price tags, mismatched furniture and kitchenware and a little bit of forgotten junk in kitchen drawers. We did not have the opportunity to interact with the owner. The property management company requested that we download a second app (which requested access to my contacts) to obtain essential information which is traditionally displayed in a notebook in our prior VRBO homes. Still, on all, you can't beat the location on this property.

Owner's Response: Corenne - Thanks for staying and taking the time to write a review! In response to your comments: Hot water for shower: Not sure why you had this issue with only having enough hot water for 1.5 showers. I will have someone out to look at the hot water heater, which was replaced with a much larger unit 2 years ago. I personally stayed at the property in Nov & Dec with 8 people & we had no issues, nor has any other guest commented on this before. Perhaps your guests took extremely long showers back to back? Not sure but I will look into it! Steps: The steps are well within & beyond any building code on Marco Island, where the rules are very strict. They were rebuilt 2 years ago & are extremely sturdy w/ railings on both sides which should be used by anyone who is at risk for falling, as with any staircase. We have many older visitors to the property & have never had an issue or complaint regarding the steepness of the steps, nor have I ever had anyone in my party mention it or thought myself they were steep. I am however sorry you had an issue with them! Staging/kitchen items: I personally just went through the house myself in Dec & placed many new decor items throughout. The photos are an exact representation of what the property looks like. While we did spend quite a bit of money doing so, I'm sorry if some of these items came off as "cheap" to you. If there were any price tags left on anything, I'm sorry if that annoyed you at all. To my knowledge, there weren't any left on anything or at the least, any prominently displayed. At most, there may have been one underneath something that would require you to lift the item & look underneath for the price tag. We do also leave items like superglue, paperclips etc in one drawer in case guests need them. All that being said, sorry if any of this offended you! Furniture: As stated above, the furniture in the house is exactly as represented in the photos. From the feedback we've received, most guests agree it gives the house a great beachy feel. I'm sorry if you felt it was mismatched etc, but again, the photos show exactly what is in the house and what you should expect. Interaction with owner: All my contact info is readily available to you at all times & provided at booking. Always feel free to reach out to me regarding anything! App: Many guests prefer the app to a book. It allows access from anywhere and is easier to search. Sorry if this was an issue! Thanks again for coming!!!
