great vacation

  • 4 of 5

We stayed for 3 nights, at thanksgiving 2016. the house is located close to the highway (this is fact was important, as we had a snow storm and we had to park the car outside the house area - we parked it close to the highway and walked to the house....). the house is well arranged. it has a lot of goodies / all the kitchen stuff, and a lot of groceries from prev stays - which was great.

It has a fireplace - which we used all the time (it was ~ 30 degrees at night) which kept us warm... (though, our clothes got a bit smell of fire :))

it was a nice stay - will recommend it

Thanks mimi for nice hospitality

Cosy and close to the gates

  • 5 of 5

This is a great place to stay if you don't want to be in the park, and is very close to south gate. Having dry firewood readily available was definite plus, and the heating and fires warm the rooms quickly. We were very pleased with our stay, and would recommend the tree house to our friends.

Great and convenient get-away

  • 5 of 5

My husband, dog and I had a great time at the Treehouse. It was super convenient (walkable!) from the Tenaya Lodge, where I was attending a conference, was moments to the gate to Yosemite, and mere miles to many, many trails to waterfalls and more. Our third night we picked up BBQ from Oakhurst and spent a cozy evening with the fireplace and a movie from the HUGE selection downstairs. This is one of the best stocked VRBOs we have been to, with firewood, spices, condiments, coffee, and more available for our use. We will likely stay again - especially if the downstairs continues to be empty. Thanks Mimi for the hospitality.

We really enjoyed our stay in the treehouse! The house had everything needed for a relaxing visit to the area, including a telescope for stargazing. The kitchen was well equipped for preparing meals and the bed was comfortable.
