Our large Heritage Log House is located in a peaceful and quiet location on a Salt Spring Island Estate Farm Acreage. Consisting of 23 private acres of rolling pasture and forest, this fabulous property is a working sheep ranch. The spacious 4000 sq. ft. log farmhouse has 180 degree views over the ocean and islands across to Chemainus on Vancouver Island.This is a very private and peaceful setting with fabulous sunsets.

The character farmhouse has a turn of the century interior with leaded glass windows and doors, antique light fixtures and furnishings. You will feel that you have stepped back in time! The Great Room boasts a huge river stone fireplace, vaulted ceilings and a wide expanse of glass windows revealing an uninterrupted view of the ocean. A large cedar deck wraps around the front of the house and encompasses a hot tub, outside seating and BBQ area…relax and watch our fantastic sunsets!

This is very much a family home which sleeps from 2 to 12 easily, providing very comfortable accommodations for couples and making it a wonderful place for family reunions, get-aways, retreats, wedding parties or just friends getting together.

A few friendly sheep and a goat- chickens and ducks await your visit!

Magical Thanksgiving

What a magical weekend this beautiful log home and all it's detail, warmth and love provided our extended family. It's layout was perfect for our needs, the kitchen wonderful to cook our enormous turkey in, and there was enough space that everyone, young and old, could do their own thing over the long weekend and feel genuinely happy and at peace. A wonderful treat.

Thanks so much, Sandy, for opening up your idyllic, cozy, rustic home, for the opportunity to sample rural Salt Spring life, and to see the world through a new light. We look forward to returning in the spring!

This was a great property for our family visit to Salt Spring - highly recommended for yours too!

The house is HUGE and has the most amazing fireplace for those cool end-of-summer nights! With a gas BBQ, a hot tub on the deck overlooking the farm and rolling hills, with satellite TV, wifi, deer visiting the front yard....who could ask for anything more! The house was fully, and I mean FULLY equipped with everything except your food and clothing. I can't recommend this place enough. And if you're hungry, Sandy has lamb, chicken, and eggs to buy at her on-site farm store!

A place worth to waste your time!

I promise to give the owner Sandy a review, but I really don't want to put this house to public, I would rather to keep it only for me.Sandy's house fulfilled my dream to be a farm owner (I felt l was my 5 acres farm owner), to live a forest cabin (a huge logs piled accent house at the edge of tall fir forest), to listen stories about the locals, to let my kids free play on the nature grass tennis ground, to sit the outdoor hot tub see the brilliant sunsets, see the milky way in every stary night. The friendly goat,sheeps, horses, chicken house. ....everything is interesting. The house is so big and spaceful,with Sandy's all kind of collection…… I can't tell you more because too much artistic detais the house has. To live in the house like you are part of an old story, like time back to 1960', your simple happy family life like a movie is shown.
