Perfect location, great for families
We stayed here for 4 nights over Spring Break. There were 6 of us (2 adults, 4 college students) and it was perfect sized.
The first floor is the kitchen, dining, and living areas. There is also 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom on this floor as well. The second floor is the master bed and bath, a bedroom with 2 twins and a full size bed with an attached bathroom. There is also bunk beds on the landing area with a TV.
The third floor has a bar, sitting area and a half bath. There is also a small deck on the third level.
This house has everything you would ever need for a vacation. The kitchen is well supplied . The community is very nice and the tram system to take you to the beach is very convenient. We have stayed in this area three times and each time it gets better and better.
The owners of this house (Jeff & Stacey) were wonderful to work with... will stay here again when we come back.
We loved the house... very clean, tons of space, and close to the pool and beach! Thanks, Jeff & Stacey!
We had a great time at Seacrest beach! The house was very close to the beautiful pool!
The house was perfect for our family of 11. The 3 grandchildren loved all the stairs and different places in the house. The tram was very helpful to go to the beach even though it was just 5-6 minutes away. We especially enjoyed the pool because it was fun to go to a different section each day. The owners were quick to answer any questions we had. Our only downside was the Red Tide that made it hard to stay at the beach. We would certainly stay here again!
Fun in the Sun and More!
We enjoyed our stay immensely! I was able to go to the pool without a problem and the family enjoyed the beach! The small suggestion would be that small trash baskets be placed in the bedrooms. Looking forward to staying again!
Great home for large group and kids.
We very much enjoyed our stay in the Kramer house, on June 9-16, 2018. It was clean and well appointed, and there was plenty of room for our group of 12, with special hangout spots for the kiddos. The pool was nice and just across the street. The reserved beach was a short walk, but very crowded. We still had fun. Our favorite thing was riding our rented bikes to the community shops and restaurants, and through the neighborhood. My only bad comment relates to the travel through Alabama on 65, which was unbelievably horrible. I would suggest flying!
House was PERFECT! Pool was AMAZING! Beach was CROWDED!
Let me start out by saying Stacey, the home owner, was wonderful to work with (never had to contact the property manager, so not sure about them).
Now for the good stuff...The house was amazing. We had 11 ppl with us (3 were kids: a 4yo, 11yo and 16yo). They house was super clean and ready for us when we arrived. Security gave us our wristbands (little rubber type bands..not paper ones) which are needed for the duration of your stay (kids under 12 don't need them). The two bdrms down share a hall bath, the 2nd floor has the master (very spacious w/jetted tub/shower combo*shower head is a handheld type..so GREAT for bathing/spraying off your kidos), bunks beds on the 2nd floor landing and a large bdrm with twins and a full. There is a bath on the 2nd floor landing that is shared by the bunks and the 4th bdrm (*or if no one is using the bunk area, the bath can be closed off and made as an en-suite for the 4th bedroom), the 3rd floor is flooded with amazing sunlight and the 16yo took over this whole area (*note: the love seat on this floor is a sleeper sofa, so it pulls out into a bed..yay!) there is also a window seat that is huge and can be used by an adult to stretch out and take a nap.
The pool was amazing-walk out your front door and less than 1 minute later you are throwing your towel on a chair complete with umbrella. The pool is massive and plenty of room. We never felt crowded even though it got busy throughout the day. (btw, floats are welcome in the pool). Side note: they are in the works of building a "snack shack" but it wasn't complete. The beach is my only complaint...first off, the tram to the beach is awesome (*make sure you have your wristband on!)..the tram drivers are extremely nice (*don't forget tip $)..if you decide to walk to the beach you will be at the boardwalk in less than 10 minutes...THE beach was crowded by the EXTREMELY OVER-PRICED CHAIR RENTAL CO-SeaOats ($350+ FOR 6 DAYS) and they take of ALL of the sand close to the water's edge. (many chairs NOT even occupied) It was horrible. You have to walk to the edge of the deeded beach or walk through the chairs to get to the water. My kids couldn't enjoy the water's edge without worrying about bumping a person's feet in the chairs...NOW, there is a public beach access*with restrooms*parking not far away (drive time less than 10 minutes going right onto 98 off 30A) and that beach was nice and not overly crowded.
Seacrest & this house again-YES! Deeded beach..NO!
