About Stephanie Morris
Hi I'm Roy and my wife's name is Eydie. We were upstairs looking out the back bedroom window at the country-like acreage offered for our backyard in the heart of the city. We fell in love with the house at that moment and had to have it. We submitted a bid that assured it would be ours. We raised two sons here and last celebrated our oldest son's graduation from high school just before Hurricane Katrina. While the Hurricane was devastating to much of the city, unbeknownst to us, we had little to no damage--no flooding. Believing our home was under water, we purchased a property in Texas. My wife stayed in Texas where our younger son graduated high school 2 years ago. I came home to New Orleans and worked with the Corp of Engineers until March 2013. Our family is now together in Texas for the next 10 years. After that, we plan to return home to retire. So, while we're in Texas, we're opening our home to others who'd like to enjoy the energy of the 'Crescent City.' There's always something going on and we host many national events. Music and food are a very important part of our culture and it will not disappoint! Whether at an informal crawfish boil where everyone's 'pinching tails and sucking heads' or a visit to one of our world renowned eateries--Commander's Palace, Dooky Chase or Willie Mae's, just to name a few, the food and music is HOT!
