About the property

3 Bedroom, 2 Bath Just A Short Walk To The Beach

A beautiful, pet friendly 3 bedroom, 2 bath townhome just a short walk to the beach. There are bikes, toys, kites, books, movies and various baby items (pack-n-play, baby gate, sippy cups, etc.) so there is less for families with children to pack.

Guests have access to the clubhouse that has an exercise room and a pool table. There are biking and walking trails throughout Shorepine Village and WiFi connection as well.

The neighborhood has lovely walking and biking paths and at the west end of the neighborhood is a wooden boardwalk that leads to the beach. The Pelican Pub is just a short walk down the beach and Cape Kiwanda is a fun place to play....with the big sand dunes and rocks to climb on and tidepools at low tide.

About Julie McMullin

Our family lives in Bend, OR....just 3.5 hours from Pacific City. We have 3 children ages 7, 10 & 12. We love the variety that the coasts provides and we want to maximize the use of this pet and kid-friendly home.

Julie McMullin purchased this townhome in 2006

Why Julie McMullin chose Shorepine Village

We fell in love with Shorepine Village and Pacific City when our two oldest children were babies. We love stolling along the paths on the way to the beach and the kids love to ride their bikes through the village.

What makes this townhome unique

We have tried to setup our home to have some of the things that young families need when vacationing such as a pack-n-play, baby gates, a baby mattress for the floor, safety covers over the outlets, sippy cups and more. We also have lots of toys to keep the little ones occupied while on vacation.

Like the old coast that I grew up with

  • 5 of 5

As a native Oregonian, now living in Central Oregon, I long for that feeling of the coast that I grew up with over 40 years ago. I am more familiar with Neskowin having family friends there, but this time we chose Pacific City to be closer to more eating options. The location of the home is within easy walking distance to many choices, and only about a five minute walk through the community and over the dune to the beach. Great hiking options to the north, and a lot of fairly empty beaches. This is a better option than staying in Lincoln City from both a value and location standpoint. Fit my family of five, as well as my parents, very comfortably.

Great place for our multi generational family

  • 5 of 5

We loved this house. It worked well for our family, kids and grand kids. We had 5 adults and 4 kids ages 1-7. The house has several cupboards full of toys and a shelf full of both kid and adult movies. The kitchen is also well stocked for cooking. We added the leaf into the kitchen table and played hours of board games. The beach access is a quick 5-10 minute walk. The weather was amazing, the kids got to play on the beach several times. Couldn't have asked for a better New Years weekend at the Oregon Coast. Definitely want to come back. The only minor drawback was sound carried easily through the house both upstairs and downstairs.
