Great Bird watching, distant views of Barnaget Bay
My husband and I purchased our cabin in 2007 and this cabin is quite special to us. We spent a lot of time there and now as a family we get to enjoy both aspects of it. Relaxing and fun. I must say having a log cabin located in this part of NJ especially so close to beach and boardwalk is quite rare, we really found a gem. We love bird watching and are very animal friendly. I myself love sitting on the back porch or in front of the fireplace with a great mystery book and a glass of wine. My husband spends most of his time out on the back deck. We love having our family and friends come down for a BBQ , shuck oysters and get fresh clams to put on the grill. We want everyone to enjoy it as much as we do at a reasonable price.
Helena purchased this Cabin in 2007
Why Helena chose Brick
I practically lived down the shore every summer. One day me and my husband were down the shore and we happen to be on Mantoloking Rd and saw a for sale sign. We decided to just drive by and to our surprise it was this beautiful log cabin tucked away. As soon as we saw this property we knew it was for us. The realtor told us to get a couple of sandwiches and just sit on the back deck to really get the feel of it and we did....haha. We fell in love with the view and the stone fireplace. We love the fact that we can go to the boardwalk for the rides and a quick bite and then come back to a nice relaxing quiet cabin. You would never know that you were at the Jersey Shore. For us it's a great place to go for a quick getaway after all the hustle and bustle during the week. Stress less- I know you will enjoy our cabin as much as we do! This is a great place to entertain family and friends. The cabin is private and conveniently located to everything. I usually tell people to come and check it out if you would like.
What makes this Cabin unique
A RARE FIND at the jersey shore. This is an original Lincoln Log Cabin on pilings with a big stone fireplace to the ceiling. Plenty of bird/boat watching right outside the back. We have french doors leading out to the back deck. The fall has beautiful foliage and plenty of places to go. In the winter you may lounge by the stone fireplace or have ROMANTIC weekend. Plenty to do with the family. A great place to have a shower, family holidays, etc. So this is an all year round cabin and its wonderful.

Cottage was perfect for our summer getaway.
Great location. Like camping at the beach. Short bike ride to the beach and Rt 35.

Staying at the cabin was very peaceful. It is located in a quiet, friendly neighborhood. We enjoyed the views of the bay and watching the birds from the deck. There was plenty of space for our family and dog. The beach is close by. We would definitely stay again if the opportunity arises.
Very cozy ! Has everything you need!
Property was great, very cozy and quite, plenty of room for a family! Location was great we took Uber at night to local restaurants! We had great weather really a wonderful time! Helena was great with communication! Would go back!!
Thank you! I am so happy you enjoyed it and the weather was good. We just love it and u guys were great and so easy and understanding. You are welcomed here anytime!
A beautiful home away from home
This is a true log cabin with vaulted ceilings, a massive stone fireplace, front and back porches, furnished nicely and well stocked with kitchen supplies and linens. A jetted tub, washer and dryer and absolutely exquisite views from he French doors in the living room and the back porch of an estuary and wildlife preserve. Bird watchers will be kept busy!! The beach is a few minutes drive over a bridge and parking is available. There are numerous restaurants both casual and a bit dressier in easy driving distances as are supermarkets and all the usual stores. Helena is great with communication. The only negative is that the mosquitoes are active and bug spray is necessary when outdoors. That said, this was a home we would return to happily. Thank you Helena for sharing your home!
I am so glad you all enjoyed it. We love it there and It makes me so happy to hear that people enjoyed their stay. Unfortunately, I believe you had one of the hottest week down there so with the humidity the bugs can be bad. I pretty much stayed in up North that week and when I did go out I sprayed because it was aweful. I usually leave some sprays down there just in case. I do wish you were able to appreciate the awesome breeze that we can get down there. We leave the doors and windows open and it’s so much better then air conditioning. You guys were awesome! Please come back again.
Our three days at Helena's cabin was spent visiting with childhood friends who live in the area, along with watching all the activity in the sanctuary. We had subs (my favorite) from Jersey Mike's and crab cakes from the Crab Shack which we cooked at home. It was a fun mini vacation.
This is an all season cabin-Close to point pleasant boardwalk- rides, games, restaurants and plenty of places to eat with the kids! Deep sea fishing close by. Fishing/crabbing pier in brick - right by the Manoloking bridge(not even a half mile) point pleasant has many things to do, Jenkinsens Aquariam, antiquing , hiking and so much more. As much as this is great for families, it is also very romantic and private. Even if it's for a quick getaway/retreat for one. The fall is beautiful to go for a hike in the Forthsyth Reserve. The winter - quite cozy -sit by stone fireplace with a nice glass of wine/hot coco and good book.
