What a great, very comfortable home. Beautiful views, stargazing from the hot tub, bluff walks, tide pool exploring etc.
And at the end of the day the house was big enough for six people to relax easily.
The beds and showers were perfect. We would love to come back someday.
Our group of four found the house to be well located with plenty of space and comfort, more than adequate for our needs. We found everything we needed for a restful and renewing week together. We celebrated thirty years of friendship and couldn't have had a better place for it.
This was our first time at Sea Ranch. Our party included 3 generations with ages 5 to 75, and everyone had a great time. The house was so comfortable, very clean, and stocked with more than your basic cooking needs. We were impressed by the beautiful ocean view, cleanliness of the house, and the BBQ grill was awesome! I think we might get the same model for ourselves. The bedrooms were all very clean and comfortable. We had a little glitch, but the owner was so considerate, and resolved the problem quickly in a very professional manner. Great customer service! Highly recommend it.
Great weekend! The house was perfect for our families needs. Close to golfing, hiking and the beach. We enjoyed family dinners and using the smoker bbq was an extra treat. We will divinity be back 👍👍👍
We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home. Beautiful views and a quick walk to the ocean, as well as wildlife by the forest! Everything was updated and modern within the house, with plenty of amenities. Tim was extremely helpful with check-in info, and very communicative throughout the process. We would love to return to this home at The Sea Ranch for a future trip!
What a great home for our family of 4 adults and 2 teenagers, ages 15 & 16, to relax and reconnect. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out when needed, or gather together for meals, cards or games. The loft became the music studio (fun to hear all the kids playing guitars and singing!) and also their favorite get-away space for reading. Personally, I enjoyed reading with a cup of coffee in the morning on the deck or in the sunroom. The views were spectacular. The two stoves kept us toasty our first evening, but were not needed after that. We enjoyed walks along the bluff with wildlife keeping an eye on us along the way - fox, deer and birds; and paths down to private beaches. Note - our visit was sweatshirt weather and windy with daytime temps between 57-65 degrees. On one of the beaches there was a seal rookery (paths to this beach were closed, but viewing from the bluffs was very good) with about 20 harbor seals sunbathing. Tide pools were fun to explore. All of this was walking distance from the house. We also spent one afternoon golfing at the Sea Ranch course (the 8th hole has stunning views and many holes had deer just off the fairways!) and made use of 2 of the 3 recreation centers available - which had swimming pools, saunas, basketball courts and a sand volleyball court. We spent one afternoon touring the Point Arena Lighthouse (about 40 minutes north).
We planned to cook our meals at the house and did our big grocery shopping on the way north in Sebastopol - the last town with a large supermarket, although there is a well-stocked small grocery store, The Surf, in Gualala (about 5 miles north) for any additional items. While in Gualala, make sure and visit Upper Crust pizzeria - we enjoyed it so much we stopped again on our way out of town. Tim's kitchen is WELL STOCKED with everything you need and then some (e.g. spices, condiments) with plenty of prep space for more than one cook. Loved the grill! We used the large TV in the family room for our weekly "movie night." The beds and linens were comfy with plenty of towels and closet space and we loved the master bedroom shower (all the jets!) and hot tub. The house is very comfortable and CLEAN!
Tim, thank you for sharing your home with us, it made our vacation memorable!
