We love Lake Texoma and have been coming here all our lives. We now bring our grandchildren! Bill grew up in Minneapolis, but says he got to Texas just as soon as he could. He is quite a boating enthusiast, having lived in the Virgin Islands for several years where he crewed on several sailboats and won many prestigious sailing races and trophies. Cindy owns and operates a hair and nail salon in McKinney. We also own a wedding venue nearby and are active in the summer months making special memories with wonderful couples. Our lakehouse is located next door in the unlikely event you need our assistance. We love meeting new folks and pride ourselves on providing lodging that meets our strict standards.
Bill and Cindy Pratt purchased this cabin in 2014
This is one of the only cabins for rental with a lakeview from both inside the cabin and the outdoor deck. It is a very special place where you can put your feet up, watch the sunset, hike down to the lake and throw in your fishing pole, watch kayaks and yachts, sailboats and skiers. Don't be surprised if you catch a glimpse of a wild turkey or deer from the deck, a bluebird building her nest or feeding her young, and even a Pileated woodpecker. Nature is alive at this cabin!
You won't find many (if any) other cabins in this area with a handcrafted wooden canoe suspended from the vaulted ceiling. Enjoy our authentic crab trap brought back from New England, our trophy yacht flags we won back in our sailboat racing days in the Virgin Islands, our great wood burning fireplace, and all our quirkly signs. This cabin has Personality with a Capitol P, and we feel sure you will have a memorable getaway!
Our family stayed two nights at Christmas, and it was perfect. The kitchen is well-appointed, nice personal touches throughout the cabin, and furniture is comfy. Our favorite feature is the big fire pit. The owners are attentive and courteous, and even the neighborhood dogs are friendly! This was our second Christmas at the cabin, and it won't be our last!
My adult son, daughter, and I had a wonderful holiday getaway at this delightful cabin! The cabin has excellent amenities! It is fully stocked with dishes and every cooking utensil you could likely ever need; Satellite TV; DVD player; gas grill; comfy couches and a recliner; towels, etc. The owners were very engaged and helpful in providing directions, answering our questions and really are interested in the satisfaction of those renting the cabin! The beds were extremely comfortable, even for my old and continually aching back!
We could not have been more pleased with our visit and I would unequivocally recommend this property. It was a memorable trip for our family! Thanks!

This cabin had such wonderful amenities. The decor was great! The owners even had the cabin decked out in the 4th of July spirit!
Bill was very helpful with our boat needs, which we really appreciated! If there was anything of note to recommend, it would be to add ESPN channel(s) for the guys.
We really enjoyed the deck area while watching the fireworks!
What a great little cabin. So clean and well decorated. Convenient location. And our hosts made it so easy to just come and go that we didn't waste any time at all getting into vacation mode. Thank you so much for the wonderful communication and the great accommodations. Would stay here again and recommend to anyone considering a stay near Lake Texoma.
If you choose to stay at Bill & Cindy's cabin, you will not be making a mistake! It is exactly as you see it in the pictures....actually prettier. The deck is perfect for relaxing with your coffee in the morning and great for late afternoon/evening cookouts. The kitchen has everything you will need, should you choose to cook. The decor is fun and the entire cabin was clean. It was just a short walk to the water and there are great places to eat that are close by. If you like fried catfish, you will want to scoot over to Huck's just off I75!
Bill & Cindy will treat you with such kindness that you will want to return!!
We had a great time in this cabin. Everything was great and Bill was so friendly and helpful. The cabin was the perfect size for 4 adults and was very relaxing. We enjoyed it very much.
