This oceanfront condo offers all the makings of a perfect holiday with fantastic views and pet-friendly accommodations! Relax with close friends and family on the shores of Rockaway Beach today.

The rental is just north of the beach and within close distance to quaint boutiques and eateries. Guests will enjoy stunning views of Neah-Kah-Nie Mountain and the Pacific Ocean, as well as a shared hot tub!

The home is ideal for entertaining with a cozy living room, fully stocked kitchen, and balcony. Extra conveniences including a washer/dryer are ideal for extended stays. Unwind with a movie on cable or DVD. Free WiFi is also available.

Six guests are invited to share the space, choosing from two bedrooms and two full baths. You'll always get a restful night's sleep thanks to one queen bed and two full beds. Larger groups can even rent the other rentals in the complex - call Vacasa for details! Two dogs are welcome with a nightly pet fee.

Plan a day trip kayaking Crescent Lake, or fly kites and go beach-combing along the shore line. The coastal communities offer fantastic seafood eateries, arts, and pubs. Whether you're planning an action packed trip to the beach or quiet retreat, this luxury condo is sure to please!

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Beautiful views and easy beach access

The views from the main window are terrific. It has easy access to the beach, which provides plenty of space to enjoy a walk or just sit and take in the ocean sounds and sights. Condo is very roomy and relatively clean. Usually we are not to picky, but the bathroom tile could have been cleaned a little better. Overall, a nice place and we would probably visit again.

Just stayed at this condo Sept 1-4. We stayed in another unit (oyster bay 107) prior to that (it was great!!).


The beach was very nice, much more quiet than Cannon Beach and great for our dog to run around. Rockaway is much windier than most other spots in this area, so just a warning that it's quite a bit cooler.

The property:

The property itself is good and EASY beach access. There are no elevators for use, so must be OK with stairs. Vacasa was helpful, and the property manager was nice.

The condo:

Cons: this condo had no wifi. Non-existent, though we were told there was Wifi. This is a concrete building so you can't pick it up from other units, and apparently they've had issues getting wifi accessibility to this particular unit. Unfortunately for us we did not know this. If you need wifi or want to use Netflix - it's a no-go unless you use your data. That was bad for us, as we were there for work as well and couldn't use the computer without accessing our data/hot spot from our phone.

The dishwasher leaked a ton of water on the floor and had to wash dishes by hand.

The beds weren't very comfortable.

Pros:The unit was decorated nicely, and had some beautiful wainscotting. Nice views from the floor to ceiling windows. Can't beat a beach vacation.


We loved our vacation, however had we known the problems stated above, we would not have booked this particular unit.

Aug 13 - Aug 18 / LEFT EARLY - VERY NOISY

The unit was very nice. Quick access to the beach and since there isn't a lot to do in Rockaway, it wasn't very crowded (which is exactly why I chose it). This is where the positives stop.

NEGATIVES: When I checked in at 4pm housekeeping was still drying towels. If check out is 11am it seems like 5hrs should be more than enough time to complete everything. Since they weren't done & I already had to wait until EOD to check in, I told them I would fold them myself.

I could hear everything in the unit above me. Chairs being dragged across the floor, kids running, things being bounced on the floor, etc. This continued all hours of the day into late at night whenever someone was in the unit. I called VACASA and although the person onsite told me they called the unit above me and asked them to lower the noise, nothing changed. In addition, no one with VACASA ever followed up with me to see if things had gotten better. Poor Customer Service

Since the noise never stopped, I was not able to relax, rest or unwind. Therefore at 8am on Aug 16th I called VACASA to let them know I was checking out. It took them 1 1/2hrs to call me back & tell me the unit above me was checking out that same down. By then I was already over half way back to WA. It should not take 1 1/2hrs to call someone back. Poor Customer Service.

I only take a vacation that costs this much money every 4-5 years, so I am not happy that due to the noise and inability to relax, rest or unwind I lost out on 2 1/2 days of my vacation. It cost me a lot of money that obviously was not refunded.

I believe VACASA should make it very clear on the description that if you stay in a lower unit there is a high risk that you will experience noise. If I had known this I would not have chosen the unit. I would hate to have someone else go through what I went through!

In addition I feel like VACASA should improve on their Customer Service. If housekeeping is too busy to get a unit clean in 5hrs, then hire more people. If check in is 4pm everything should be done by then. If someone has a complaint, follow up with them in a day or two to see if things are better. Return calls in less than 1 1/2hrs.

Based on my experience and the loss of money I would not feel comfortable renting a VACASA property ever again!

I have a lot of health issues and really needed this time away to rest and relax, so this was very disappointing.

If it would have allowed me to, I'd select "Not Really" for if I enjoyed my stay.

Rented 08-13-17 through 08-18-17 BUT checked out 08-16-17

I have some medical issues and work 45-50hrs a week so I was looking to get away so I could relax and unwind. When I was finally able to check in at 4pm the housekeeper was still there drying towels. Since I already had to wait so long to check in I told her I would just take care of them when they were done. I feel like 5hrs should be more than enough time to clean the unit and everything should be done by 4pm. In addition I stayed in the lower level of the complex. From the second I checked in I could hear everything the people in the unit above me were doing. Dragging chairs, kids running around, things being bounced on the floor, ect. I called and the onsite rep told me she called them to ask them to be quiet. I appreciated that was done however, there was no follow up to insure it happened. Unfortunately they never did quiet down and I could not relax or unwind due to all of the noise anytime they were in the unit (even during the "quiet time"). Therefore I checked out at 8am on Wed when I wasn't due to check out until 11am on Fri and lost out on half of the money (which was a lot) that I paid to rent the unit. I did call Vacasa when I checked out but I had to leave a message & it was 1 1/2hrs before anyone even called me back to tell me the people above me were checking out that day. By then I was half way back to Washington. I think 1 1/2hrs to call someone back isn't very good customer service. I think Vacasa should include a comment on all of their lower units that there is a fair chance you will hear the unit above you. This will allow people to decide for themselves if they want to spend all that money to rent it or not. I know that is a lot of negative but there was some positive. The unit was as nice as the pictures made it look. Was big, clean and furniture was comfortable. I went to Rockaway as I wanted to be someplace that wasn't as crowded and it lived up to that. I would recommend this complex but only if you stay in an upper unit!

Great for a quiet family or couple get away.

Condo had everything we needed. All we had to do was go pick up some groceries for our stay and we were ready to hunker down for a perfect, relaxed vacation. Beach was quiet and peaceful, and clean! Condo was super comfy and clean. I felt as comfortable there as I did in my own home. Would certainly stay here again, and hope to do so in the future!

Already wrote enough. Would not stay in this location again as it was far from fine dining and all restaurants in the 45 mile area close certain nights and always by 9 PM
