We were so pleased with this little gem. The cabin was clean and full of nice touches like spices, great books, great DVDs, a fabulous fenced area for our dog, and our host delivered a home-baked loaf of banana bread when we arrived. We are already planning our return.
Perfect little cottage
Such a cozy and warm cottage . Like we were staying at the 1/2 acre woods and Winnie the Pooh was going to come for a visit 😉. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality and oh my , the yummy banana bread .
Easy and Welcoming
Lovely, cozy cabin, furnished and decorated so thoughtfully. The property is situated down a short stretch of dirt road ... quiet and peaceful yet easy to get back to town or highway. Nao and Tal made it an easy and welcoming stay.
It was so lovely to have you here Ellen. We would love to have you again, whenever the need to retreat in the forest sanctuary arises.
Wishing you every good thing,
Nao and Tal
Awesome, incredible quiet which was perfect for us!
As you may have guessed, we wanted to do something special to commemorate our 10th anniversary: we chose Honey Grove VRBO as a base from which we could explore parts of Vancouver Island from Victoria to Campbell River. We knew we had chosen well as soon as we turned into the driveway leading to the cottage.
The quiet is incredible! No traffic noise and only rarely heard aircraft during our 5 days there. Rupert the gentle rooster is the quietest rooster I’ve ever known -- the chickens live just off the back of the cabin.
The cottage is clean and spacious with all that is needed for an enjoyable get away. On arrival we found a welcoming flower arrangement and then were treated to freshly baked banana bread!
We are already making plans to return early September 2020!
Thank you Nao & Tal for providing such a lovely cottage experience.
