Beautiful one-bedroom, one-bathroom poolside ground floor townhome situated directly on the Reef Village Gold Course and less than 300 yards from the white sand Coral Beach, great for shelling, snorkeling, and relaxing. Colindale sits amid tropical landscaped gardens, a beautiful and challenging gold course, swimming pool, and world class beaches. This townhome has two flat screen TVs with cable, wireless high-speed (wifi) internet, fully furnished and appointed with everything you need for a relaxing stay on Grand Bahama. Stay in style with a European kitchen, granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, tile flooring to minimize allergies, and remote security gated access (code provided upon booking) to the property for added piece of mind.

*note that the townhomes are much closer to the beach than indicated on the map plot. The townhomes on Coral Road at the Swan Drive intersection between Ocean Reef Bay and the golf course, less than 300 yards from Coral Beach (about a 5 minute walk).

About Jason Harris

Jason and Tracy Harris currently reside in Hawaii but return to Florida several times throughout the year and visit the Bahamas often. They own and operate three businesses. Jason and Tracy live at Sunset Beach on the North Shore of Oahu with their four children.

Why Jason Harris chose Grand Bahama

This property is perfect for visiting Grand Bahama. The island is uncrowded but has bars, restaurants, and excellent shopping. There are golf courses everywhere and a marina on the other side of the golf course our property borders. The beaches are absolutely amazing and the water has that beautiful Caribbean blue which takes your breath away. The apartment has everything we need and is nicely appointed to be comfortable but not too enticing to stay indoors too long. After all, we don't go there to stay inside, we go to enjoy the beauty and majesty of the Bahamas.

What makes this townhome unique

Golf front, opens directly to the pool deck, short walk to the beach, secure gated property, minutes from all the nightlife and shops/stores on the island. The in-house resident property managers, Don and Ken, help us cater to our visitors and are very knowledgeable about the islands. Colindale Townhomes only contains 24 units, which is great because we enjoy the peace and quiet that comes with such a low density residential building. Now you can stay at this property for a great value. We just want to share what we've found in the Bahamas with as many people as possible. Nice condo close to beach !

Condo was nice ! The property's manager as well as Jason was good on getting back with us whenever we had a question ! The beach was about 5 mins away from the condo ! I really enjoyed my stay here !

Private beach vacation!

My boyfriend and I loved the townhome, it was quite and if felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. It's within walking distance of the beach and it was the perfect romantic get away. We will absolutely be returning soon!

It's affordable good quality and worth your while

This place has everything. Has a kitchen with all sorts of pots and cooking spoons. Has a refrigerator which makes its own water. Has wifi pool central air washer driver golf course. It's peaceful makes you feel at home. The perfect get away from stress. If you're not a city person this is the perfect place for you to stay. The inside decor is island like to me. Upon your arrival at the place you have a lil welcome card with your name on it to make you feel special. Friendly staffs and helpful. I would definitely recommend this to anybody

Time in Freeport and Colindale Apartments

This was a part of a two month exploration of some islands in the Bahamas ( Andros, Grand Bahama - Freeport, & Eleuthera).

I was in Freeport for 3 weeks and stayed at the condo in Colindale Apartments. During this time, I walked around the area, Coral Beach, Lucaya area, downtown Freeport.

The staff at Colindale and Dolphin Cove restaurant were great. Dolphin Cove is about a 2/3 minute walk from the condo. I ate quite a.few meals there, including pizza night on Thursday and breakfast / brunch on Sunday. Excellent food, kind and helpful service.

Besides walking the area, I also took public buses a few times, one from downtown and flagged another down and he stopped. You pay $1.25 and tell the driver where you are going and they take you there.

The condo was one bedroom and fit my needs. There were two TV's, with cable, Internet was good, large refrigerator, washer and dryer, large stove and dishwasher, silverware and dishes , pots and pans provided.

Pool was right outside the sliding door, a few steps away. It was fine and kept clean daily by the staff. Quiet and peaceful, had pool to myself.

For improvement, maybe some upgrading of the tile, extra soft chair in living room, AC was very loud.

I would recommend this location for reasonable price. Keep in mind it is in residential area, about 10 minute walk to Coral Beach along Coral Beach Road, grocery and liquor store are about a 25 minute walk. You can make all your meals here. Renting a car would be helpful.

Don, the manager of Colindale, and his staff were very helpful with emails and making me feel welcome. Like I said, staff at Dolphin Cove restaurant were the best!

European style kitchen, granite countertops, designer stainless steel dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, and range. Washer and dryer in the unit. Remote access security gates. Children welcome! Other amenities include docks, enclosed yard, gated community, gold course, hill top view, and swimming pool. With only 16 total town homes on the property you can rest assured that your vacation will be filled with peace and tranquility. Dine and shop down the street at the Port Lucaya Market Place and Marina or visit a casino and try your luck at slots or on one of the many gaming tables.

The location placement on the map tool shows it significantly further from the ocean than it is. The property is about 400 yards from the public access at Coral Beach (about a 2 minute walk).
