Sanibel Island is truly a unique experience. It has been preserved in time like no other location in South Florida. No building over four stories is allowed on the island, and more than half of the land is wildlife preserve. There are quaint shops and restaurants, several golf courses, and miles of clean white beaches with some of the best shelling in the world.

Our unit is located at the exclusive Tarpon Beach Club, a low-density, 30-unit resort which is right on the Gulf of Mexico. We have a third-floor location, a highly desirable corner unit, on the water with fantastic views. The condominium has a bright, contemporary look throughout.

The kitchen features new cabinets and appliances, striking solid surface countertops, and a large open counter facing the dining area. It is fully equipped for your every need. Free high speed internet access is also available.

The dining area seats six and has a side window overlooking the pool. The living room is all new, with truly quality furniture, a 37' LCD TV with a VCR/DVD player, and stereo. It too overlooks the pool to the side and opens on to the lanai in front.

The master bedroom overlooks the Gulf and is also newly decorated. There is a large flat screen TV with DVD/VCR player, walk-in closet and sliding glass doors onto the lanai. The master bath was enlarged and contains a spacious new vanity and large walk in shower. The guest bathroom was also redone.

Best of all is a large, screened lanai which faces the Gulf (front), and overlooks the pool (to the side). The advantage of a corner unit in terms of windows and views is huge. The porch furniture is bar height and first class. You can watch the kids playing at the pool or beach from the lanai and never get out of your chair.

An equipment room is located on the ground floor for exclusive use, containing 2 seven-speed bikes, a great beach set, tennis raquets, beach toys, etc.

A few short steps over a private boardwalk brings you to Tarpon Beach, a magnificent gulf beach which stretches for miles in both directions.


This is an outstanding getaway spot on a great getaway island.

About the owner: My wife and I live in upstate NY and have three children. We bought the unit 5 years ago and get there whenever we can.

Why the Owner Chose Sanibel Island, FL, USA:
Sanibel is a very unique location, like no other in south Florida. No buildings allowed over 4 stories and two thirds of the island is preserved for nature. GREAT restaurants, beaches and everything you need right there. Our unit is a corner unit, on the gulf, and that is a huge plus. I knew I wanted to buy the place the first time I walked in the door. And because we rent all year long, we have make a real effort to provide every ammenity we can.
