Always a great stay!

  • 5 of 5

This was the our second time staying at the Lily pad, and it was just as enjoyable as our first stay. The cabin is always clean, warm and inviting. Well stocked with everything you need to make it feel like home. The owners are friendly and helpful. Looking forward to another stay.

Thanks so much Giglio family!!

Terrific mountain home!

  • 5 of 5

We spent a wonderful week at The Lilypad, the house was everything we wanted it to be. Warm and cozy and the views from the deck were beautiful. The layout of the house made for a very comfortable stay, huge kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies, we barely left the house, except for a couple of great hikes and a day trip to Asheville. Bedrooms and bathrooms set up was ideal! I would highly recommend the house and would love to stay there again. Owner was very accomodating! Great rental experience!

Beautiful cabin, well furnished and very comfortable. Lovely setting nestled in the mountains with a spectacular view. The deck is large and accommodating . Highly recommended. We hope to return next fall - we caught the changing of the color just about right!

Beautiful Mountain Home

  • 5 of 5

My family and I stayed here to escape the summer heat of Charleston, SC. Mid 60's at night and low 80's during the day! Sure beat the 100 degree days back in Charleston. Home was well furnished and stocked and provided the perfect escape. Enjoyed hiking and rafting the local rivers and waterfalls. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Great Location. Amazing restaurants, shopping, golf, hiking, skiing, rafting, fishing, and many other amazing family and couple sites to see!!! Cashiers has amazing shopping and dining only 20 minutes away. Cornucopia an amazing lunch desination for salads, sandwiches, and amazing desserts. Highlands is just 35 minutes away, a great main street atmosphere as well as ziplining adventures, hiking and more!! Asheville is about an hour away but definitely worth the trip. Biltmore Gardens and Manor are a must as well as downtown Asheville for the ecclectic art galleries and shops in the area. Depending on the time of year there are many local art festivals and farmer's markets going on. Great baked goods and gifts to take back to the family. A small local market is just down the mountain and ingles is 15 minutes away for all your big grocery shopping needs. There are a ton of state parks (Gorges, Pisgah, Dupont) Have your lunch beside a waterfall, go for a beautiful hike, raft down the river, fish until your hearts content. We have many booklets and pamphlets at the company recommending different excursions we have taken and thoroughly enjoyed. We are also available to help with any questions about the area. We have owned a home in the area for over 10 years and find something new to do each year. There will always be places to go and sites to see. If you just want to relax and enjoy your time in the cabin and stay local Lake Toxaway is the place to do it. A local marina offers boat rentals with skis and other water apparatus. Great walking and hiking trails are all around you and the golf is phenomenal. This place has something for everyone. There is even a family owned gem mining operation just outside of Lake Toxaway for the family. Always a good time. Again, something for everyone.
