Beautifully appointed home with period detail built in 1890. First floor is the living area, fully equipped kitchen, half bath and fenced in yard. 2nd floor has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. 3rd floor has 2 bedrooms, full bath and a sunroom complete with tv and wet bar which opens up to a deck overlooking the ocean.
You’re 3 blocks from the beach. The sand beach is miles long and has volleyball, public bathrooms and occasionally bands on the weekend. There is also a great 8+ mile running/walking trail - the Boston Harbor Walk. One direction on the trail takes you to Pleasure Bay where can check out Castle Island, the other you will run right into the JFK Museum.
More detail: 1st floor is a beautiful open concept living space. The living room includes brand new couches and a 60in flat screen TV. The reading area has two large leather chairs and autumns by a gas fireplace. The dining room has a table perfect for some meals in. The huge chefs kitchen has stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. The kitchen opens to the large brick deck with table, chairs, umbrella and a grill. The master bedroom has a king size memory foam bed, the 2nd bedroom has a plush pillow top queen bed, the 3rd bedroom has twin bed and crib (can be removed) 4th bedroom has a queen size blowup air mattress (very comfortable double high from Costco). The 3 bathrooms upstairs include 2 walk in showers and a bath tub.
There are plenty of local restaurants and bars within a few blocks: Loco, Capo, Lincoln, Stats, Beer Garden, Local 149, Shenanigans and The Playwright. You are less than 2 miles from the center of Boston. There is a bus stop 2 blocks away that takes you directly to Copley square. Also the subway is a very convenient 15 min walk. The subway gives you easy access to the airport, bus station, and all that Boston has to offer. We recommend while you're in Boston to check out the historic Boston Common, the Freedom Trail, catch a Bruins or Celtics game at The Garden, check out Fenway and a Sox game, Harvard, MIT and the Science Museum. You can also catch a great show or a concert in the Theater District all right off the Redline.
You're in 'Southie'. South Boston is one of the hottest neighborhoods in Boston as of late given its proximity to the Seaport area with restaurants, bars and a bustling nightlife. We are also conveniently located to the convention center (BCEC) and downtown (Financial District, Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market) along with subway access on the redline (Broadway T stop) and frequent bus routes to Copley Square or Downtown Crossing (#11 bus). While you're here check out where Good Will Hunting, The Town and The Departed were filmed and get a beer at a great Irish Bar.

Great house in South Boston!
Very spacious, comfortable and quiet home. We appreciated Nicole's hospitality; both she and her sister made themselves available to us if we needed anything, and were helpful with recommendations of area restaurants.
We were 3 couples, and it was perfect. Would definitely recommend this property.
The perfect place to experience South Boston and Downtown Boston
We had a great time in this lovely residence in South Boston. The place was immaculate and everything it was hyped up to be. Convenient walking distance to restaurants and bars. If we are ever back in Boston, this will be the first place we look to stay. The owners are nice, professional, and generous.
Great 4th of July Holiday
House was everything and more the owner quoted.
Great location, plenty of room and very clean.
Like we never even left our own house.
Would stay there again!
Great Stay for Boston Marathoner and Friends!
I came to Boston in April with family and friends and had a great stay here! Nicole and Shane went out of their way to help us get settled in to the place and giving us plenty of ideas for things to do. The house was extremely clean and well-maintained and had plenty of room for all of us. The location was good, too. It was easy to get around the city via public transportation and there were some good shops and restaurants nearby. I enjoyed running the loop around the bay and saw a lot of walkers enjoying it, too.
Bottom line - great place to stay made even better by exceptional hosts!
