Situated less than fifteen miles from Snowbasin, Powder Mountain and Wolf Mountain ski resorts; this 900 square foot, two-bedroom condo is decorated in contemporaneous mountain style. The unit is located on the scenic Ogden River and has a spacious deck overlooking the river within a few steps of the back door. The spacious master bedroom is furnished with a queen sleigh bed and the guest bedroom has two twin beds. The front room is equipped with a beautiful wood stove and mantle for comfortable après ski evenings. The handsomely accommodated kitchen and dining area offer all of the comforts of home.
Located in the heart of Ogden Canyon, 228 Ogden Canyon is located comfortably between local ski destinations and downtown Ogden. Ogden Canyon and Huntsville Valley are an outdoor enthusiast’s heaven and can accommodate almost any outdoor activity, including downhill and cross country skiing, snow shoe, fly fishing, lake fishing/ice fishing, trail running, hiking, and mountain biking. The Ogden Canyon condo is located approximately 15 miles from Powder Mountain and Snowbasin Resort. Powder Mountain is known for lots of “Powder” snow and Snowbasin Resort hosted the 2002 Olympic Downhill Super G competition. For summer outdoor enthusiasts the condo is located within 5 miles of 12 different trails located on public land, and, taken together, provide over fifty miles of mountain biking, trail running, hiking opportunities. Whether you opt for the nearly flat North Fork of Pineview trail, the sublime Wheeler Creek trail with modest elevation gains and majestic cliff rock views, or the challenging Skyline trail which gains more than 2800 feet over five miles, you can find as much, or as little, challenge as you seek within 5-15 miles of the lodging.
For anglers, the Ogden River which runs just outside the back door of is teaming with approximately 3,000 wild brown trout per mile up to approximately 18 inches which can be caught nearly 365 days per year right outside the back doorstep of the unit. Annual heavy hatches of blue wing olives, pale morning duns, salmon flies and caddis flies make the fishing a delightful experience for the fly fisherman that has the right bugs.
We are avid outdoor recreationalists. Our hobbies include, downhill and cross country skiing, mountain biking, snow shoeing, fly fishing, bass fishing, trail running and hiking.

We purchased this property is 2006 because we are able to experience all of our outdoor hobbies within five miles of our Canyon condo.
The most unique aspect of this property is the gorgeous deck overlooking the Ogden River. We spend hours each evening grilling and the dining on the deck, or just relaxing with a glass of wine.
My family had a fantastic stay in Ogden Canyon. The property is quiet and beautifully set on the Ogden River. Neighbors were friendly. Our kids loved going down on the patio that overlooked the water. The extras such as games, Netflix, etc. were a wonderful addition. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals when we wanted. The location in the canyon is a nice distance away from 'town' but close enough that we could go back and forth easily. We will definitely be returning!
Even though the river was high and hard to fish, we still managed to catch a few for dinner. The sound of the river was so relaxing and the neighborhood was quiet. I would definitely stay there again if I ever make back and hopefully I do. Thanks again to the Lee's for a wonderful stay.
Our stay at Brenda and Hal's Ogden River Canyon was wonderful. The condo was perfect for us and little dog. We felt right at home. The beds were super comfortable and we slept like babies every night. It was very quiet and peaceful. The furniture was very comfortable as well. We loved the open concept set up and the island in the kitchen. The wood stove and the deck overlooking the river were added bonuses. We also love having a washer and dryer right there. My husband really appreciated having the carport for our truck. The location was ideal for us. Only 20 minutes to Snowbasin where we had season passes and were able to ski 40 days. We also loved being so close to the river walk for our dog and the close proximity to stores and restaurants. We hope to return again and would definitely like to stay at condo.
Beautiful location. Perfect short trip to either powder mountain or snow basin. A comparisons were also nice. Our girls loved having own room and beds. Quint living room and kitchen area. Would definitely go back.
Everything we needed was there! We stayed for 11 days in this wonderful little duplex. We were able to cook and entertain our family. The deck was so peaceful. Opening the windows and listening to the river was just amazing. We hope to return next year!
Our stay at the Cobbles Condominium could not have been more delightful. The owners considered and anticipated our every wish. It was quiet and peaceful, especially with the river and deck just steps from the door. We cooked on the grill several nights and enjoyed the serenity of this beautiful spot. Everything was perfect. The cable and WiFi worked great. The beds were extremely comfortable. The neighbors were fabulous. Five stars all the way! Thank you, Brenda and Hal, for a memorable week in Ogden Canyon!
